  1. yep,

so about 15months ago i replaced the switch gear with one from palmside

    https://palmside.co.nz/products/escort-mk2-new-indicator-switch

as it was as sloppy and worn.

so kinda ruling that out at the moment,

managed to articulate my large body once again under the dash to have a poke around to see if anything looks suspect with no luck.

    guess il replace the relay,

can anyone confirm the photo shown is it?

    chur

  2. Hey team,

Just out of the blue all my indicates failed to work.

The hazard switch also now does nothing.

I have checked and replaced the fuse.

I tried the joint pin 1 &2 on the hazard pins with no luck.

    Any ideas?

    I guess replace the relay,

My guess this is it shown?

  3. Hey Guys,

Ive Been away and my escort has been sitting cold for almost 3.5 months.

2L with a hot cam, head work and sidedraughts etc,

Was Rebuilt not many K's ago with polished crank and what not.

Bit paranoid, thinking just put in fresh oil, fuel and coat cam and tappets in oil, then take coil lead off, crank over for awhile then try start it?

    Suffice you think?

Thanks in advance for any reply guys.

  4. Bahco is great valuel. MANY tradespeople have those folding black and orange sets with no complaints.

+1 Best tool set ive ever had is Bahco. never a problem, the ratchets are superb.

Even used as a hammer when angry/frustrated/drunk.

    Loves it.

  5. just for future referance there are two different lengths in the booster shafts for the MK2. all i know is 75 boosters have a different length shaft than that of a 1979 one.

No need to bleed after. if dont want to remove entire braket you can bend up the side abit to get pins in and out.
