Came across this in the back of a hay barn about a year ago when i was looking at holden hz parts for Neal. Was smitten as shit with it as soon as i saw it. Didn't need another project but ended up getting this quite cheap Had to sell a few toys but not worried. Is 99% complete just a little run down in certain areas such as rust being that it's steel bottom alloy top. The jet units bearings were all stuffed as well so pulled unit off and threw some new bearings at it new seals. 

Currently have pulled motor out so I can flip hull and fix rust and fix all plumbing and wiring. I'm also going to build a heat exchanger at work out of an old diesel oil cooler since currently running raw through motor.

Jet boats are great! This my old dog running holden 308 and according to the Jet boat place I got my bearings from an early france craft unit which I've just finished rebuilding.

Theres always the potential for selling them. I'm unsure at this point if I can actually get them I've put in an application with the owners but it's a large company and there people could get first dibs. 

Roll marinised engine in landcruiser pull trailer with couple pelicans of water behind it for cooling system. Seems like a great idea

Unsure about making more power i haven't had anything really to do with these engines at work they have been sitting on the shelf for years because the owners couldn't make there minds up on whether to go ahead with them.

Is there any Japan engine importers who would deal with such motors?

Really? I already looked there I didn't find anything lol I must be typing something wrong 

I work at an engine overhaul business and sometimes companies don't rebuild there motors because it's to similar in price to buying a new one. A company has just bailed on rebuilding 3 yanmar diesel marine engines and claim there going to scrap them. The engine itself is i believe a Toyota HD 6 cylinder 4.2 litre which has been marinised. 

I'm thinking of trying to buy the scrap motors and attach the marinsed units to a second hand running motor but unsure of where to find one.
