yea im going to try and run it on 98 if that dosnt help will have to get someone in the know to look at it thanks for the help.

Im new to this and dont no jack about cars so dont cut me down please.

So just got my first car a 1980 4door mk2 escort L and I'v noticed that when I turn it off it keeps spluttering and shakeing around abit for a while (long enough for me to get out of the car and lock it!!) I have been running it on 91 and will put 95 or 98 in it next time but is there anything else i can do to stop this?
