Thanks good points to consider, it's an rx2 sedan, shaft is about 1330mm. If I go ahead will be sure to use reputable shop. May be easier to re-design the hangar bracket? Going to be certed anyway...

How good an idea is it to have my two piece drive shaft made into a one piece? Struggling for room for resonators and would be real nice to get rid of hangar bracket. Will I get vibration issues or whatever?

Is there a preferred welding method Mig vis Tig etc for engine mounting? Pic below, will add gussets, wont win awards but fuck awards.

Cheers man, yeah thats where i got the hole pitchings from, but unfortunately it doesnt have any measurements on the outside profile.

It will be right in the middle of the engine bay prob the first thing that catchs your eye so I want it to match up perfectly otherwise it will look rude as.

I need to make an adaptor for my carb (IDA manifold to DCO carb) done most of it just need a pattern to make the carb flange (my carb is 8hr round trip drive away).

I've got the dimensions for bolt spacing etc just need to take a cardboard cutout of the base of the carb so i can scan it and overlay what i've already got so it matchs carb.

Doesnt matter if its old and fucked or whatever.

Can cut an extra one out for anyone who can lend me one or if anyone wants to cut me out a pattern i can hook you one up a flange if you need one.

Im in Hamilton.
