    Thanks good points to consider, it's an rx2 sedan, shaft is about 1330mm. If I go ahead will be sure to use reputable shop. May be easier to re-design the hangar bracket? Going to be certed anyway...

    How good an idea is it to have my two piece drive shaft made into a one piece? Struggling for room for resonators and would be real nice to get rid of hangar bracket. Will I get vibration issues or whatever?

    Is there a preferred welding method Mig vis Tig etc for engine mounting? Pic below, will add gussets, wont win awards but fuck awards.
