Stoked to be nominated tbh, since it's such a late inclusion etc.

Yay, I got a vote!

This chip gives me 40 horsepowers.

Hard to imagine you wouldn't get at lease some bump steer, it's the pivot that matters.
Is it a front or rear mount rack?
-
Correct engines on top though.

Panel gaps
I swear E30's have some of the worst panel gaps going.
-
Very early mock up of the front air-dam.
Checking angles, thickness of lip etc.
Long ways to go.

I sold an RX4 coupe with a shit load of work in it, was the worst decision I ever made.
Store it and wait.

I hate BBS RS.
They look bloody good on anything and it pisses me off.

Im only ever doing satin cars from now on unless im paying someone to do the paintjob. So much work getting car straight. mab easier on a newer car.
Def true.
This car was pretty good to start with, so makes it a lot easier.
I painted a kitchen in a 2part silver that was available in different gloss levels. Was quite easy to use and reasonable tuff but dust is a pain cause you cant wet sand and polish.
-
Without trying to sound like slam is everything, but is there a reason you didnt build it lower from the start?
A satin finish would be sweet, but its hard as everyone has different opinions on how they would build it.
Few reasons, front arms are past 1/2way already (roll centre correction pins are available), steel edge on the inner guard area, gravel road at the end of the drive, wanna be able to hammer it elsewhere without worrying about it, kinda think it suits it and I'm 38.

Looking good, what colour finnish you going for?
Man looks like you have a sweet house location!
I was gunna use this Imola red maybe with some white stripes/race car.
Pretty close to right shade in that pic.
The other colour was a satin silver/cant do that now can I ha.
Imma stick with the RK's for the moment.

1/2 decent updates this time.

This is an excellent site for learning about welding.
Great forum, vids and tips.

Mmmm standoff

Looks shit hot.
Well done.

They are the same width and offset as the BBS RKs on the car at the moment, just a 16 rather than 17.
Full polished ally finish could be quite smart.
-
Reluctant to go any wider on the flares, pretty bloody big as they are. Probably reprofile them with more of a curve.
I'd love lots of nice shiney dish but it's not really practical.

Spotted these as potential wheels.

Thoughts?

The BMW engines use an electric idle control valve with a separate idle circuit.
It's really hard to keep a decent idle on without it (dies when returning from revs).
Complicates an ITB manifold quite a bit though.

Does the engine use a separate idle circuit?
Toymota noob

Sweet!
Is the droptank steel?
-
What are you using for paint?
Also, how much of an absolute prick are flares to sand/shape? I hate it, always with the flat spots etc.

Ha orsum.
So much potential....
lightening a flywheel

Hang it by a piece of string and whack it with hammer like object.
If it rings, lighten it. If it goes thud, throw away.
Dont go too light and dont rev it too high and you'll be all good.
I have 6kg on Alice, have used on another car, and recommend them all day long.
