And whats a 1/2 race cam???kinda of a pet hate like someone saying they have a "fully" worked engine!!

As its fitted with a CB900 i cant race it anywhere and the engine to have in the 90's was the gsx750 (i Want to use it for vintage and classic speedway days)

And these came in the post :-) very close fit so new manifold to be fabed

  5. i can beleave the amont of hate that has come from cutting the rail your talking like the job was done and ready for a dodgy woff,Ok i cut it off ok not the best thing to do in hindsight but not all is lost as some said it now has to be replace from the firewall now.

As for the wof guy back off! he gave me advise from the information i gave him and as most people that know me i have a lot of trouble explaning stuff

As for trying to do a dodgy job and ficking the car this was not the case here.more giving  something new ago and didnt give a fuck if i failed as the car owes me fuck all just my time

Now stoped work and looking for another body shell failing that ill part out .

  6. I wasn't going to reply after flyingbrick's two post's and how easy some people can call others  idiot's (thats all i im going to say about that you sir are a fuckin cunt)

i picked is car up for the wheels and tires i needed for a wof on other car with this basically being a free car and thought i would have a go at fixing yeah for sure it was a dick move not getting it bent straight first

i beleave you guy were thinking i was just going to weld new rail right up to where i cut is is not the case i was going to use it as a datum point (tack weld)to get the rest of the front end on all nice and square the next bit would have been to fix to rail itself.

after ive cut it i see there are 4 different pieces of steel inside the rail itself and looks to be a real cunt job (gave it a go and failed) i must be a idiot

PS: not all welder's and fabricator's just make handrail's thats just being ignorant!

  7. Consensus was to straighten it first (might not have cost too much for a pro to do so)... How do you plan to weld the front section on? And how do you know the chassis still part of the car is straight?

Not trying to be a dick, but you're asking for help and pointers, but ignoring what is being offered up. Repair certs are a thing due to peoples safety being at risk. People doing DIY chassis repairs with no experience or knowledge makes me cringe, a lot. The fact you're asking the questions you are tells me you shouldn't be doing the repair. That's just my 2c though.

im 100% sure the other chssis leg is i have other car and run the tape over it it all good ,(why i cut it off i dont have the tools to do so) i talked to the wof guy about what i wanted to do and how i was doing and he didnt see a problem.Sorry if this make you cringe and plan to make the best job i can with my 10 years  experience as a welder and fabricator
