yeah go with the kent cam 234 it about the best cam for street use the next size in the kent range is the 244 cunt to drive in traffic and will need cut outs in the pistons
And whats a 1/2 race cam???kinda of a pet hate like someone saying they have a "fully" worked engine!!

Also working on this 90's TQ
As its fitted with a CB900 i cant race it anywhere and the engine to have in the 90's was the gsx750 (i Want to use it for vintage and classic speedway days)
And these came in the post very close fit so new manifold to be fabed
-
A little more tonight ive gone with the momo shock has 3 damping settings not sure if ill need it really but momo it is.
-
i have other plans for 750 but sure it will fit have CB900 that would badass in there Also looks like it will fit

Havnt been spending bugger time in the shed lately and picked this kz440 yesterday for $100 as a parts bike after getting home and googled what i just brought i seen that they make for a nice cafe racer and with having gsx750 parts bike also i started just pulling shit of and changing parts over most parts from both bike seem to bolt up nicely
that wheel looked out of place now changed to gsx swing arm and work out to be tha same wheel base as the gsx750
not sure if to keep the classic look or change to mono shock from gsx
-
I got side tracked today and had a little fiddle fuck with the kz440
fuck now seeing that ,thats a big rear wheel
keep the 440 or put ether gsx750 or cb900?Also i cant get over lego like the part are from Suzuki to Kawasaki

i can beleave the amont of hate that has come from cutting the rail your talking like the job was done and ready for a dodgy woff,Ok i cut it off ok not the best thing to do in hindsight but not all is lost as some said it now has to be replace from the firewall now.
As for the wof guy back off! he gave me advise from the information i gave him and as most people that know me i have a lot of trouble explaning stuff
As for trying to do a dodgy job and ficking the car this was not the case here.more giving something new ago and didnt give a fuck if i failed as the car owes me fuck all just my time
Now stoped work and looking for another body shell failing that ill part out .

just out of curiosity, does your front cut not also have 4 pieces of steel visible? or does it change closer to the firewall
yeah the 4 pieces are just localised around the crossmember area and 2 pieces the closer to the firewall
-
I wasn't going to reply after flyingbrick's two post's and how easy some people can call others idiot's (thats all i im going to say about that you sir are a fuckin cunt)
i picked is car up for the wheels and tires i needed for a wof on other car with this basically being a free car and thought i would have a go at fixing yeah for sure it was a dick move not getting it bent straight first
i beleave you guy were thinking i was just going to weld new rail right up to where i cut is is not the case i was going to use it as a datum point (tack weld)to get the rest of the front end on all nice and square the next bit would have been to fix to rail itself.
after ive cut it i see there are 4 different pieces of steel inside the rail itself and looks to be a real cunt job (gave it a go and failed) i must be a idiot
PS: not all welder's and fabricator's just make handrail's thats just being ignorant!

Consensus was to straighten it first (might not have cost too much for a pro to do so)... How do you plan to weld the front section on? And how do you know the chassis still part of the car is straight?
Not trying to be a dick, but you're asking for help and pointers, but ignoring what is being offered up. Repair certs are a thing due to peoples safety being at risk. People doing DIY chassis repairs with no experience or knowledge makes me cringe, a lot. The fact you're asking the questions you are tells me you shouldn't be doing the repair. That's just my 2c though.
im 100% sure the other chssis leg is i have other car and run the tape over it it all good ,(why i cut it off i dont have the tools to do so) i talked to the wof guy about what i wanted to do and how i was doing and he didnt see a problem.Sorry if this make you cringe and plan to make the best job i can with my 10 years experience as a welder and fabricator

ok i may just keep going.
I know you guys are saying that will pull out ,but i have now way of doing so.What i have at home is basic hand tools , tape and a welder ,No porta power etc
So i cut it off
Ill drop the crossmember tomorrow and square that cut up
Have to make sure i cut this right
Ive never done anything like this before so any help, pointers would be really helpfull

Apart from the odd cut down/bent spanners for those cunty hard to get at nuts/bolts and welding a socket to scissor jack for speedy up and down with a rattle gun
This would the neatest tool i own a hand made torque wrench i picked up at a garage sale the guy's dad made it as apprentice at New Zealand Railway's where he worked his whole working life.
After buying this i changed my Will so my tools now go to some that will use them and wont be sold
