  1. I have desided not to put the windscreen sunvisor on the wagon. The sunvisor is up for sale under the Parts For sale sectionhttp://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=19933
  2. Cheers man. Haha yea i am kinda in the middle of mine just gota finsh off by putting the rest of suspension with new bushers back togetter. I am keen to see some more pics of your sedan and the work you have done on it lately.
  3. Sorry i dont know who gator is? Does the gator your thinking of own a orange 808 wagon? Ask level7 about that....
  4. Yea i was happy as with the outcome of the suspension parts after i had rebuild some of them. (still gota finsh off the rest tho) haha yea it helps when you know someone who can sand blast or dip strip them. Brothers mate sand blasted my parts for a few boxes of beer also. I got all my bushes from Wairau/glenfeild shock shop: http://www.shockshop.co.nz/index.asp The guy in the parts department gave me 25% discount on every busher i brought from memory. Yea Cheers. haha yea i dont wana wreck my wagon by doing what every young guy(haha i am only young) does and lowers the shit outa there car so it looks cool bt screws up all the guards body etc.
  5. The front struts and suspension need a bit of work so i deside to rebuild them. I got all the suspension parts sand blasted back to bare metal and repainted in black. So far i have only put the front stuts back together with new shock inserts and dobi lowering springs. Which lowered the car about 60mm. Not to much as i dont want the front wheels to rub or wreck the guards. Also brought all new nolathane bushers for front and back suspension just havnt got around to putting them in yet.
  6. My wagon came from wellington, bought it about 5+ years ago now. Is half rebuilt, shell is painted and reasembled with interior etc.. but still needs some finishing work done on some the panels before they are painted and it all goes back together... I'm waiting for Thomas's wagon to be finished first.. haha O yea. Thought you might have import it from aus. Far looks awsome from the few pics i have seen of the rebuild cant wait to see it finsh. What kinda motor you guna run? haha Thomas's wagon haha ur guna be waiting for ages. . .
  7. haha Cheers for the drawing Yea not to keen on drilling holes throw the pillars. But the way you have done it without drilling holes seems to look like it will work maybe. Kinda like sandwiching the roof/pillar gutter between a washer and the visor.
  8. haha o ok it isnt to hard just use: http://imageshack.us/ for your pics Start up a project thread would love to see your capella.
  9. Yea i was thinking i might have to make some sort of brackets up. Would be good see some pics how u did it? Thanks
  10. Heres a pic of a wagon i found with a visor. This wagon doesnt seem to have the chrome trim arond the roof line tho. I have kinda test tryd the visor on my wagon to see what it lookd like but the chrome trim around the roof line seems to get in the way if i was guna mount it there. I ant keen to take off the chrome trim.
  11. I have been thinking about putting this exterior sun visor i have on the wagon. But cant realy make up my mind if i want to or not? Heres a pic of the visor: What does everyone think? Put it on? or nar leave az is?
  12. hahahaha lol back seats mint. Looks prety clean but my m8s always say i bet that old lady did some dirty shit back there. ewwwwwww
  13. Nar didnt get it off him. Got it off thomas. I am unsure where thomas got it from. Think it might have been trade me years ago ae. You got a mint wagon. Where did u get it from? I saw some pics of it getting rebuild a year or two ago. Hows it coming along?
  14. Picture of the old lady who original owned from new. Must have been her pride and joy haha
  15. Yea the hubcaps came up sweet after a good polish from the local polisher. haha but wasnt cheap ae. Next time i might get a polishing wheel for a bench grinder and give it a go myself. Yea level 7s wagons got me into 808 wagons. I see hes building up a new wagon atm?? Yea my brother brought the grill years ago of trade me and then gave to me to put on the wagon. I am prety sure you know my brother anyways.
  16. Thanks for all the great feed back. I am unsure. I like both sets of trims. I have just spent lots of time on the hubcaps fixing them up so i think i will go with them for now. But if i do put the chrome rings and centre caps on again i will get the rims repainted in the factor gun metal grey colour. Yea that would be sweet if you/someone did have a blue coupe or found one. I am still waiting for a nice day so we can take pics of my wagon and rot808s sedan together. Yea i will find the photo and post it up for ya haha
  17. Whats everyone think???? Which do you like better: hubcaps or chrome trim rings and centre caps?
  18. I have desided its time for a change. I have found some 808 hubcaps. So i am guna change them from my chrome outer trims and centre caps to the 808 hubcaps. When i got the hubcaps they need a good clean and polish. So i clean them up and took them down to the local polisher. He did a prety sweet job but wasnt cheap. After i got them back from the polisher. When he polished them it took off some of black paint in areas. So i deside to sand back were the paint was and repaint This what they looked like after that: I used some fine line 3M tape 2 mask out the shapes and areas i wanted painting After i masked the shapes i wanted i covered the rest of the hubcap with paper to stop over spray. I used a airbrush to paint the areas. Which workd realy well. After i pealed of all the tape this is how it came up: I was prety happy with how it came out. Not bad for a first time doing anything like that. I will try get some more pics when they all finshd and on the car.
  19. Any up dates or work been done to the cosmo?
  20. The grills off a 808 Grandfamilia coupe Few pics i found of a Grandfamilia
  21. o ok yea. Didnt seem like it had been drivin much in the last few years. When i got it the hole boot and back seat was full with parts 4 the car. Soon after i got the car i had a mean clean out and replaced the carpet. I found heaps of treasures under the carpet and seats haha. I found a pic of the old lady who ownd it before him. Its a pic of her siting in the car haha. Must have been her pride and joy.
