  1. I haven't had a look for a while but I used to have some limited access (viewing only, can't purchase type dealio) but I think that is gone now.. for full cars still best to go straight to Ewan as I've not imported any myself so wouldn't want to say one thing and not deliver etc.

    No problem sending within Japan.

  2. Yeah so basically the pricing is a bit less now because we're using Ewan's pricing for it all. Container shipments as mentioned leave only when they are full, no point sending half a container right? That can take a whlie if people aren't buying things to put inside.. so get all your friends onto it! If you've ordered that gearbox to be shipped in container (I assume it will as it couldn't really go any other way) then I would not be worried about it, we are still taking orders for the container.

Typically a set of wheels is $200NZD in container plus commission on the sale price and local shipping etc, if you have some links feel free to message me I can flick you pricing. If you ship things via sea it's about 6-8 weeks, if by EMS usually about 1-2 weeks (depending on how long it takes to get item from supplier/seller).

  3. What is this crazy digital medium?!

    WHERE AM I?!

GET OFF MY MORSE CODE MACHINE!

  4. OK after a brief error with the Yahoo account we're back in business with bids, let's go shopping! Sorry about the delay on that one guys. Ewan also posted up a thing explaining his situation on his Facebook :)

  5. If this is going to be the best method of ensuring the buying process continues to operate smoothly going forward, then I'm all for it.

Personally, as a long-time customer I was a bit disappointed with the way all communication from Ewan suddenly dried up with no explanation. I did have a theory that his new Stacked email may be aggressively spam-filtering people into oblivion without his knowledge, but have no way of knowing for sure.

As an aside - I'll gladly throw my support behind any company who manages to successfully deal with Jenesis/R30.co.jp on my behalf. No one, not even Ewan, has had any luck there so far.

Hmm sorry I forgot to reply to your Jenesis part in PM.. haven't dealt with them before personally but even Ewan can't?! I will see what I can do.. PM me what you need from there..

  6. If you're in Auckland (or don't mind to drive to Auckland) we will probably pick alot of it up in a truck and transport it to my place. If you don't mind to collect yourself for now it will be in Wellsford still but in the future it's looking like Pukekohe may be the pickup area.

semi on/off topic, where are the containers being unloaded now/where can we pick up our orders from? assuming pick ups are still possible.

No doubt Ill be buying stuff through you guys in the future.

  7. Ewan merged with another guy called Shane and they have opened a depot in Osaka that can accomodate large orders and more frequent container shipments. Ewan and Shane have been working together for ages so this is no real surprise :)

As far as us, it's something we have been talking about for a while as well as he is often getting bogged down and overwhelmed so we were looking for a way to free up his time to work on larger projects and container work while we can sort out everything else for him in NZ and also having an NZ contact for the company :)

  8. Thanks guys for the support, yes we have been importing for people for years now from not only Japan but USA, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, UK etc list goes on. Recently Ewan approached us about helping him out with the NZ customer base as he's become a bit overwhelmed with everything lately (as you would have probably found out by his delayed email replies etc).

We've been working with Ewan for years buying bits of Yahoo/UP Garage as well as in general with manufacturers over there so we are no strangers to how everything works. It's always difficult when doing something like this as there will be bugs to iron out etc so I know we will the system streamlined soon :) With regard to pricing on FB, before we started this with Ewan we were using a different pricing structure, now with Ewan's system the prices will be far lower as payments go direct to Stacked; we are simply acting as NZ agents.

For the name.. I thought of it when watching Initial D actually, Tougé through the mountains under the moonlight, that was the inspiration for that name! We may be making some adjustments with that in the next year or so anyway to reflect the directions we want to grow into.

I've asked Ewan multiple times to post something around or on his FB he said he will when he gets a chance; currently he's in Taiwan for a friends wedding. Please I encourage anyone to send me a message, PM here, email or whichever way you want with any questions I'm happy to answer and help. We are pretty much online all the time one way or another so communication should no longer be an issue :) We are also able to bid directly to Yahoo (once our password issue is resolved, doh, worst timing!) so can do those bids right away for you.
