Extractor broke on the way up to aucks. Some wires are a little melted now... Noisy trip. Was just about back and car broke down. Something wrong with starter motor

I blew my exhaust manifold the other day. Went to put new gaskets on and found there was one missing and also a stud missing too. New water pump all wired up and working Rainbow horn wired up and working. Loud and lots of variety but some of the sounds sound cheap. Handbrake bracket was bent so Dad tried bending it back then came to me with 2 pieces. No parking on hills for a while. Anyone got one?

Silicone is definately just a temporary fix to stop leaks until i get new screen seals. it looks budget as is. Plan is to pull engine out and repaint engine bay up to the windscreen then put the new seals in at the same time. Paint is pretty much like that the whole way round except for one of the back panels has some cracks in it. Its not too bad but has a bit of orange peel paint. Will repaint the whole car at some stage too.

Mounted a bracket for my exaust for support to stop it snapping again. Put some silicone around the front windscreen rubbers to hopefully stop the water leaks.

New Wing mirrors arrived a couple days ago. Got them fitted today. Didnt realise they had an amber glow ring on them when i bought them so still need to connect that up. So stoked with them. They look sooo much better. Started wiring up a tester amp and sub. Checking that the hand-me-downs work ok before i splash out.

So where does it come back in then?

Yea it was done up and put in a museum a few years ago. Im pretty happy with it...except for the leaks that I dont know where the water is coming in inside the car and the leaks from the engine...haha. It still goes

Is it common for the heaters to not get very warm in these cars? It has power assisted brakes. They're off an Austin Princess apparently. We have checked the clutch fluid line and it is all good. Thanks for your help Here's a better pic of the engine bay

You covering it yourself?? Looking at getting the repaint done first now due to me finding water leaks in my car :S That black rubber hose is a breathing hose...I never knew my engine had to breathe...lol

Yea got insurance the day i got it. But nothings going to happen to it anyway. Hes a good car Thanks for letting me know though. Ill get dad to look at it when hes got a bit of free time

Got some sounds sorted. Head unit and speakers are connected. Will fix sub and amp after easter. Sounding good so far. Anyone know what these parts are to?

You dont have your GTE anymore? Dad was talking to a guy at the All ford day and theres a guy in Pukekohe who has the fabric for the seats. I hear Chch is the place to be if you got a cortina. All the parts are available down there. Y do you have so many Cortinas? Are you crazy? lol If you want to get rid of your console could you please post me a pic on here or PM me and let me know what you want for it please?
