Haha all good Luke I have a FA50 that has been at a mates work collecting cobwebs for the last ages.. Summer is nearly here so will have to get that up and running for trips to the dairy for $1 mixtures!
-
Sunday sometime between breakfast and dinner haha...
-
Awesome, I am pretty much just going for the drivers side sunvisor.. Damn it being diesel I need me some new spark plug leads..
-
You might already be aware but there is green Diesel BX in Lower Hutt Pick a Part at the moment. Heading up on Sunday if you need anything and can't get out there??
-
Why didn't Luke tell me about this earlier, I would have jumped at it!!
To tell the truth though it probably would have just sat there collecting dust if he gave it to me....
Keen to see progress on this

Sounds like a plan! Whereabout in Wellington are you mate, and when suits you to come pick some up - ideally over the weekend
-
NOMZ!!
-
The STOP light I assume you are refering to? The light is on but goes on and off when going over bumps etc so would assume I need a couple of litres in that case?
Will look tonight at where the float is..
-
Haha yeah well I'm only needing some to top up the BX I got off Borgweiser. How much do the systems take? How much you charge per litre?
Also, what kinda container would work? Fine to bring old coke bottles or similar haha?
-
As per title, looking for LHM in Wellington. Any idea's folks?
-
If it were mine, I'd use it as a sweet daily (after changing the muffler) and then buy a project car.
What this guy says. Seems a bit rough and not really worth putting too much effort into haha. Also that muffler/milo can is horrible!

<- What he said!
Most of the TX3's I see are either buggered beyond belief, or there was that blue one on trademe for eons with Gullwing doors, airbags(?) and custom interior.. :-& :-&
-
Oh yup should ask them about a sunvisor too, could try get them down to Wellington together somehow?
-
Cheers CaMpylobacter, appreciated! And KK, next time I drive past you hopefully I will be in my BX and I can toot/gangsign and you will recognise me!
-
Just bought Borgweiser's old Red BX! Was talking to my mate about your one yesterday, then driving up the Ngaio gorge saw you punting down in yours(I was in my mates Civic) and was like "rawr!". So yeah, that was me pointing at you..
Know of any drivers side sun visors kicking around??
-
I know I have some bits at home in a box. Don't think I have any of the above but will have a looksee over the weekend
-
Haha I bought a bottle 3(?) years ago from the warehouse of car clean stuff, round the ten dollar mark. Have used it like twice, and probably used the crappy drive thru car wash 3-4 times. Car's are for driving, not washing/I only own dungers so no real point
-
Looks nice man!!
-
The above raises a valid point. Most people (outside Oldschool) would only own one car, so it would double as daily driver and the odd longer journey. If there was nowhere to charge the car, you wouldn't be able to take it too far from your house! I obviously know nothing about EV, just questions I would be asking if I were thinking of investing in such a vechile (which I couldn't unless it cost about $3.50)..

Beaut little AE82 Graham, I'm a fan Once again - like many others in this thread these have a certain appeal to me.
TBH I also love the Renault you've got too... that's such a badass car.
Agreed re the Renault! More info plz!

There is one of these at Pick a Part in the Hutt, stood next to it and was so shocked at how little it really is. Looks like the front end took a pretty good hit, but interior was mint brown leathery with check inserts looked mint!

I likey!
Would love a little hot hatch of this nature. Corolla motor's easily get up there in the 1000's of kms, especially when looked after!
