  1. about what sort of dollar value are the pin removal tools? I will get one and sell/loan to other posters when i have finished using it. after all i only have 4 pins to remove.

  2. It is a NZ assembled 1968. they both look to be the same,

    Where would i obtain a roll pin remover?

    Im not worried if i destroy the front panel, Its allready shagged so i will have to get one from palmside at a latert date

  3. So i managed to scam today off work so thought id have a go at getting the front guards off.

    To do this, i need to get the doors off. which are not bolt on

    Does any one have any tips for getting the door pins out without using the grinder and hating myself afterwards?

    this is the beast here, will do a better write up later when i have progress

  4. get two engine stands, make it taller and put a big piece of box pipe shit on it that bolts onto chassis rails. Done

    can i get a pic of this done? I had thought they were very technical, well designed peices of engineering.

    But they can be done with 2x supercheap eninge stand??

    i would prefer to get it upside down. will this do it?

    Anything else you want to add: Have brought the 68 escort to rebuild, owned a sport in the past and loved it, using the 4 door mk2 as donor car
