Haha, cant wait to get it back from the panel beater! Hes doing a trade for tattoo work, fuck i love my job, can trade for almost anything haha! Unsure of color i want to paint it... Also trading tattoo work for a full Retrim from Greg at Master Trim Then... the next thing on my mind is.... engine conversion or leave it original.... FML V8 / SR20 with open throttles/turbo? Any 4 cylinder would suit... Not going to ruin it with a rotary so dont even mention it

yeah, its lowered slightly.... but even now its failed a wof on no suspension travel in the front... Going away for panel this week, its missing out on getting the chrome down the doors put back on, i cant find any and the old owner binned the original strips... Still figuring out whether i restore back to factory look, or give it abit of a spin... what do you reckon/

Discussion - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=29364 Brought this off Trade Me the other day, Runs good, needs a new battery... abit of panel work where the old owner tried to smooth things off etc etc... Came with heaps of old stuff, manuals, rego slips etc etc , was cool to read through and see where it came from. Plans so far are just to tidy it up and get it all one color, probably go with the red wheels and white walls look for now, iv got some bullet shaped center caps, find a visor and some roof racks for now !

Ok, so im in the process of doing one swoop over my front suspension setup... Iv got a set of 4 pot calipers all rebuilt and ready to go, AW11 Mr2 front strut inserts. I Was looking over heaps of forums and its doing my head in... Basically i want to be able to adjust the camber etc and get mad stance... I can get hold of mx83 front suspension stuff if i need it, lca's , steering arms etc... That will have me running 5 stud... but other than that, what is involved? does everything fit etc.... Im getting mixed messages from everywhere, people saying its a straight bolt in or iv gotta modify bits and pieces etc etc etc... WTF!!! Help would be much appreciated...

at the end of the day, its the front lights and grill of the c33 that i want to change, i like the look of the c35 lights and grill...

where there is a will there is a way, keeping the c33 guards, cutting to suit lights, stitching the front of the c35 bonnet onto the c33 bonnet to suit lights and grill... surely, if they can make fibreglass ones, then why cant i make a mould, the old mans a engineers patten maker by trade so... Im just tryin 2 get ideas from you guys what would be the easiest way to go about it... alex, stop popping the bubble !!!

Hmmm, much to think about, will pull everything off the c33 tonight, just gotta get hold of headlights... then ill think about the guards from there... hmmm, i think bonnet will be my main key, i dont mind filling and making new lines for the guards to match c33 doors.

I have some c35 laurel front guards, 30mm wide dmax ones, was wondering if anyone here would know how to put them onto a c33 laurel... mounting headlights, what would i do for the bonnet... front bumper etc... anyone able to shed some light on this, im unsure of where to start.... maybe photoshop haha.. any help would be mint, also someone in hamilton able to help? can pay in beer/cone/cash

Iv had two ideas for my 5 stud conversion so far... 5x114.3 Weld up and machine flush all the holes, then re drill to 5 stud (illegal?) or ??????? hub onto mine, with bearing kit to suit.

Yeah, even when turning under power the diff will be "locked" its when you dont turn underpower that it will open up. The old mans mate has one in his lux, does the trick, slightly noisy, but possibly becasue of the abuse its had over the years.

I need abit of feedback, what do u rekn, iv got the 1jz sitting in there, still havnt got round to doing the mounts yet, but was thinking, mount it all up with the 1jz, then just go and get a running 2jz from a wrecker... im gonna have to rebuild my 1jz anyway....

Failed... do the 2jz sumps fit the 1jz?? ahhh fu*kn headaches
