Does it dry nicely? Smooth with no brush marks etc?
-
Yeah sorry rca, it was late haha.
-
Abit of motivation lately, has some dirty replica wheels I scored for nothing... Brand new so it can roll on those for awhile

Looks awesome man solid work, I'm building a gx60 at the moment. Did you find lca's for it? I'm looking for some at the moment. Still a long way off having mine running with the 1jzgte...
-
I can guarantee it's been covered before but where is the best place to get bushes... I was told by autolign that they have no listings for my gx60, I want abit harder wearing than the standard ones so maybe nolothane etc, is there a decent company making them that don't cost the earth? They told me to pull them all out and bring them
In and they would get them made... Seems pricey...
The next part is I want to paint all components as I pull them out, what's the best paint to use for underbody/suspension parts etc that comes out of a rattle can? I don't have a compressor etc to spray parts. Or would it be easier to take them somewhere for them to do it?
Based in Hamilton

Ke70 wagon rear shocks and some unknown springs I matched up, get rid of the original air Adjustable shocks, still have to remove the compressor and all that extra crap. Front struts are out and off getting bilstein adjustable sleeves and inserts fitted. Next on the list is some new wheels. Finally getting shit done. Checking if the rear shocks will bottom out and if so they will get shortened more.

And x61 and x60 are the same? Just wondering how I can go about getting spares to make Adjustables from
-
As above? Interchangeable stuff?
-
No worries man

Looks good man, time to make a panhard rod anticipating the lowering that's about to go down, any parts spare you want to part with by chance?
-
Any ideas on lowering? Solid rear axle... I want it on it's guts sitting guard to rim on 14" wheels... Any suggestions

Picked her up a few days back, the rt110 has gone to a home where she will be put to good use.
Drove the gx60 back from wanganui to hamilton, ran nicely didn't get hot or have any issues. Found a leak under the passengers foot mat, mouldy carpet but no rust underneath, still yet to find where it's coming from..
Will upload some picture ASAP

What off the shelf items would bolt into the front? I'm going to use a commodore vn diff with vt LSD guts, so I'll have a custom made 4 link. I realise the height isn't going to help with handling I just want it sitting nice on some 16's.. After I do the suspension i will need to take into account the engine swap. I have the engine just looking for a box. But mainly wanting to setup the suspension and have it sitting nicely as I'll daily drive it until I have everything for the conversion
-
I'll message ya about the engine mounts man, I'll be keen to snap em up.
Basically, I want adjustable suspension simply because I want to have it certed at a stupid height for driving on the road, I will give it a go at track days etc too. Handling is a key thing for me since it will have the 1j in it, i want it to be setup nicely.
GX60 5 stud front... how?
