hi guys, my flat m8 just brought a motor for his s12 silvia on trade me in chch, we stay in wellys, but the guy dosent have a hoist and thinks it is too much to hire, so i think he might be trying to pull out of the trade. does any 1 have a engine hoist in chch, that this guy can use. so he can get our new motor out PM me if u can help. i went to try put a 4 speed spedo sender in in the weekend but the box im running has a smaller spedo drive, same as the fwd,s ??? and is glued in there very tight, i cant get it out grrrrr! so i think il have to send my spedo cluster away

hi guys, i finaly took my 1979 lancer for a cert, it faild, mostly little things. 1 being the accurecy of my spedo, i have a 1.8l turbo cordia motor, 5 speed sigma gearbox, and 14" mags with 195 45 r 14 tyres on them. my lancer was factory 1.2l 4 speed, my spedo reads 62 at 50 km 88 at 70 km 99 at 80 km 124 at 100 km any 1 out there know what i can do to make this right????

i dont need a boot lets just make a costom install

now let look what i have done inside, frount has 98 type r integra black recaroes, looks nice and comphy as to drive in and in the rear i chopped up and modified a set of seats from a 1993 gsr, sits way lower and looks good lets put all my gagues in now

think im going to upgrade my brakes now. well here goes my starion struts and brakes. had to cahnge to rwd sigma bottom arms and ex lancer rackends. but is all in now just sits way to high finaly got my adjusties all made up put some recet leafs and 2" blocks in the rear, (65 mm of ground atm)

lets make a costom afm houseing and mushroom filter well motor is all in now. just made up some intercooler pipeing. and wound boost to 10psi.

lets drop the 1.8l turbo corda motor in time to mount up the intercooler and oil cooler

well i blew up my 2l sigma motor so i think its time to make it turbo. lets start with painting the engin bay

yea the mounts are diff and the body seams abit wider, also looks weard at the btm u kan c the fuel tank, think the earlier lancers hve diff rear end myt go hve a look at my m8s 74. can send u pics if u wnt 2 have a look
