I reckon the brush works best , tried spraying it and was a nightmare and wasted a lot of paint and its not cheap Look forward to seeing your cradle all painted ! would be nice once I get my own place to buy some machinery so I can do it all from home.... one day ! gotta finish that race car first

  5. Nice work on the front cradle , good old por15 . Do you brush it on or spray it ? Was very lucky at my previous job to build all those parts and use the machinery after hours. Ive now changed jobs though :/
  6. Fitted the wildwood 4pots and capri 2.8i vented discs also added some keeper springs Quickshift installed hydraulic handbrake and linelock arrived
  7. Mods to the rocker cover to get it to fit and a given it a refurb fitted weber 28/36 downdraft and strut brace
  8. Unsure exactly on the weight I've saved but it all helps especially when Ive got the weight of the cage to add in shortly Haha its poor mans carbon fibre , aluminium sheet with carbon wrap on top Wish it were real , but would've worked out too $$$$$$ and thanks flyingbrick and skier22 ! !
  9. Trial fit of wheels 13 x 9 13 x 8 8's are the go , will order the other 3 when I can afford $$$
  10. Got this tank in return for doing a machining job for a mate Fabricated a cradle to hold the tank and welded it in fitted the filler bowl
  11. My mate at Motorsport composites made me two front splitters one carbon and a spare fibreglass one
  12. Engine back in finally got the garage (sorry mum) , good to get the car inside to work on

  14. Had to convert passenger door to match lock on the drivers side riveted and fibre glassed rear arches on More holes
  15. Work bought a pallet load of machine parts from the UK and I managed to sneek a few escort parts onboard Window , door and boot seals Electronic Dizzy kit Adjustable pedal box
  16. Yeah mate , got my logbook signed off last night. Got a few things to finish off tonight , load it on the trailer tomorrow and go racing Friday
  17. Welding time Chopped the original mounts off the crossmember and added a gusset in.
