Only just saw this thread now, The work that went into it was amazing and was real sweet to be a part of it however the rock didn't really step up, some of the guys were working till midnight some nights and then starting again at 8am but they told us it was too expensive to even give us all a T-shirt, however shit happens

Picked her up after beach hop, ran sweet all the way except for over heating, but I'm assuming thats because some had put the wrong radiator cap on it. Have now got the headlights going and all indicators except one, just need to bolt down the battery, fix a bit of rust and adjust the hand brake before I go and see Mr warrant man

I could possibly beat it for you but dont have any spray gear

lol, you can make a show on me if you like, i drive a matt black hq, drink lion red, love metal and am an apprentice panel beater

theres no certainty yet but matamata panelworks is giving me a 2 week trail and if I'm lucky I'll be the new panel apprentice, but nothing certain yet, I'll be startin the trail on the 8th so will be keen to meet people etc in that time. and its ok about the bogan thing I'm sure I'll fit in well haha

am almost 100% certain that as long as you dont have indicators this is legal but if you have indicators and your brake lights flash its not

I believe you have to run gaurds because of its age? Can never remember the cut off year.

from what i remember you can get an exemption to run almost anything, but I think you've gotta join a NZHRA affiliated hot rod club and apply for the exemption, not certain though

I'm usually pretty useless at turning my headlights off when i've had them on cause its foggy or somethin during the day, was thinking about how i could wire them up so that when I turn the key off the lights turn off. anyone know how?
