  1. yup kk have got the springs from jb, just havent got round to putting them in yet as the car is in napier and me in matamata lol will get there eventually, dont have any for the rear yet so no big hurry lol.

    safety etc

not too worried as the grill is set far enough back that you'd be hard pushed for it to hurt anyone even if you run straight into someone but meh we'll see if I get hassled.

  2. So just a little update for now, the grill was pretty stuffed so went for the barbed wire "effect" am pretty stoked at how it turned out and imo fits with the car so i'm happy

  3. basically am needing to get the wagon low as its been far too long at 4x4 spec but buying springs is proving a lil more difficult than I thought apparently there's 3 different sizes listed under 50mm drop but I cant have the car off the road long enough to take the springs out and measure them, so if anyone knows the dimensions of an 87 ke70 2 door wagon spring they would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

I'm not sure if we do them or not lol we dont have a louvre machine but could do them by hand I'd say, will ask on monday

  5. as I said ealrier in the thread we use rotorua, the cars look aawesome when they're done, asked the boss toady about any paint falling off problems etc and he said that they've done full resto's that way for 10 years+ and have not once had a problem, would definately go this way if I had the money

  6. Yeah we use the place in rotorua at work just had no idea what it cost, will get hold of some paint stripper and just use that and elbow grease, not sure about the sand/media blasting surely you get a fair bit of warping on bigger panels
