you will get distortion in the panel due to the heat used as you do with any welding. some factory welds on older cars are brazed however

Might seem a bit of a stupid question but am needing to get the shock inserts out of the ke70 to shorten them (will just turn them down in the old mans lathe) but they're gas filled (according to a label on them) so am not sure whats gunna happen when I pull them apart, am I gunna loose all the gas or what am I gunna find?

what about just slapping some of that Fog-ex stuff on? havent tried it my self but rain-ex is possibly the best invention since window wipers so fog ex should be too lol

lil bit off topic but is a repair cert just a piece of paper saying the panel beater is happ with it or is it the one where mr wof man wants to see it before paint etc
