    yea man thats me. i am keen for a cruise or something aye i keen as for the photo idea (but dont get to close to mine it will show up all the bloody dings :oops: haha. we should toatally sort something out for before x mas and have a bbq or something. just an idea

    yea i would love some sidys for it but i simply cant afford atm :(. beside i am doing some reserch on building a new 5k with custom prity much everything to run 4age 20V throttle bodys mounted on the drivers side of the car with a nice big loop over manifold like the injected 4k's and it will be running a link.

    then will build the real motor for it. mmmm injected 7k running 14psi through a sc12 'charger with forged internals :twisted:

    ALSO.. if any1 has some fender mirrors like in the pic above please let me no i am after some if they are the right price im not 100% sure if i want to rock them on my car but will never no untill i get some on there to find out.

    thanks fella. what were u in? are u the fella with the markII that keep flashing thier lights at me last night ? my thing notto fast i dont really push it i like my licence to much but that other guy in the kp was talking shit saying he would smoke me so i had to put him in his place lol. i dont think i am going to go out on a friday night anymore there is to many little dickheads out there doing really stupid passing manuvers and i really parranoyed they goingto fuck my car up. as for the colour i not keen on changing the colour i wantto keep it as close to orignal as i can so i can put it back to stock it the need should be there lol. i really want some wide steelys with chrome hubbys and whitewalls for her so i can rock it out in tru old skool styles for a bit but it proving harder than i thought to find some

    no i didnt sorry i got them made by endevor enginering up north i sorted out a group buy through rollaclub.com and club k, i tryed 1 on here but not to much interest.

    thought it was about time i did this as i sure i have not made 1 yet.

    i bought my bugeye just about 1 year ago now when i brother wanted to to aussie after i brought this for him. and i could not think of him selling it to some little fruckwit that would destroy it so i brought it back for the princly sum of $1200. when i brought it back it onl had 86,000 orignal km's on the clock. it now had 108,000 on the body and about 10,000 on a rebuilt 5k.

    the 5k is pretty standard for now. it is sporting a standard 4k carb that sheldon had rejetted the secondary jett for me. it has got a cam that we have no idea of the specs as there is no markings/stampings on it. all we no is it is as lumpy as hell. on top is a ported/polished and skimed 4k head and is still running the standard hydrolic lifters. it breaths through a ramflow filter and gets rid of spent gas' via coby extracters into a full 2" zorst with a 3chamber middle muffler and a stainless dumpy at the rear. it is legally to loud (104.2dB at full noice & 102.2dB at 4000rmp) but once new motor is built the zorst will be made more legal. other than that there is nothing really flash bout it except for the gilmer belt drive.

    is is lowered all round with modifyed factory front oil shocks with motor oil in them to make them stiff as and superlow lovells springs in the front and the sway bar having a bit more caster pulled forward. in the rear it is running compressed superlow king springs and shortened shocks.

    wheels are 15x7" konig rewinds with a zero offset and are wearing 195/45/15 GT radials.

    me and sheldon have got some big plans for the new 5k motor i have just brought so once the weather clears up abit ill take some pics of the new plan. and we will see what you think of the proposed plan

  5. Yeah the 32/36 dgv is a popular upgrade on motors around the displacement of yours for guys who can't afford sidedrafts. They go alright, but you'll really need to get your hands on a wideband to get it jetted properly. I had one on my datsun, but I swapped it for a 350 holley.

    i have just brought 4 for $30 :D trade me is a great place sometimes.( except when people try to pass dogshit off as gold!!) so needless to say i am chuffed bout this.

    please excuse my ignorinse but wat is a wideband? and what size jetts do people recomend for a worked 5k (1500cc)?

  6. ive been talking to the guys over in aussie on rollaclub.com and they swear by the webbers ay, i am just looking for a fix for now carb wise as it has just got a standard 4K carb on it (1300cc).

    i am unsure of the compression on mine but it cant to to far off standard as there as only been .5 to .75mm off the head and it still has the factory dished pistions inside it .

    i have been offered some 40mm dellortos from a mate with the k sereis manifold but i simply dont have the money as i have been off work for a year in ACC due to worse than 3rd degree burns to 37% of my body. so money in understandable very very tight at the moment.

    i have also just been offered 4 32/36 webbers for $30 i think ill also buy them and make 2 good 1s out of the 4 as 2 of them are in bits.

  7. i didnt measure anything when i went to look at it to tell u the truth :| now i think bout it more i bloody should have hahaha. as for manifold wise ill make an adapter for it to mount to the factory inlet manifold that i have had pot matched to the ports on the head.

    i would love to see a 120hp N/A K motor that would be wicked :D

  8. hey guys i am looking to upgrade the carby on my 5k i was really wanting to go sidedrafts but i simply can't afford it at the present time. i have been looking into the webber side of things for it.

    the motor is fully ballenced with standard bottom end hydrolic lifters and all. it is running a lumpy as hell cam (unsure of specs as there are no new markings on there to identify what cam profile or who did it) a proted, polished and shaved 4k head, coby headers into a 2" freeflow exhaust.(and is fully rebuilt under 5,000kms ago)

    the webber i have come accross is a webber an old guy here in my home town (in NZ) there is a stamping on the side of it saying "34 DCHD" and "6L" i was wanting to no if any1 knows if this of going to be of any use to me (as it is a good price of NZD$50) he is unsure what it is off but thinks he pulled it of his old mark 2 GT cortina years ago. if i do get it ill be rekitting it so i no where i stand with it. do you think i wil have to redo the jetts at all and is so what sizes should i go for them?

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    i have brought some rear shocks of efp0wa and not hurd from him in a couple weeks i still waiting for a price for shipping and bank details. last pm i got from him was that he had not long moved house and had to find them witch was sweet with me. so if any1 on here no's him could you please get him to get in contact with me i still really want them.

  10. pretty anti k series thread , considering whats being sold , cant really see the point of getting down on peoples prefrences considering the multitude of cars on this site with everyone with different tastes :?:

    i agree if you dont want 1 or just got shit to talk bout it find an other thread to do it on please. and yes considering the many many different make and models of cars on this site i though that if there was any1 with a "K" series motor they might like to no that thanks to zac we are getting hooked up with a kit for our motors. half the cars on here r not my cup of t but i have kept that to myself because "each to their own".

    me and a few guy off the club k car club/forum are tryiing to do a bulk buy from Endevour Engineering & Tooling LTD the kits are $650.RRP but if we can get 6 people to make a bulk buy at once they are going to give us a discount of $170 each kit. so that $480 for the complete kit (consisting of the 3 pullys, stainless caphead screws and a belt) the bullys are made of billet alloy and lok to be of the highest quality.

    they do make them for some other motors but we are just trying to get the "K" series motor kits 1st depending on interest ill ask my contact to look into other motors also (i no they do 4AGE but unsure how much)
