Brodie you loose unit that cop you gave shit pulled us up last night in the hq.
Rofls we were on police scanner 7 times that night for just looking dodgy.
according to the 3 cop cars that turned up at my house tonight i had " done a runner from them after the drags :S and tryed to evade them going up 3 mile hill ) i never saw a fucking cop and i was by no mean trying to evade them !!!
Tried to stop you winding him up mate... That guys let me off heaps but he does get cunty when you wind him up
couldnt help myself i fucking hate gettin accused of doing shit i have not done. especially when my car is legit and i dont really do shit like that of fear of loosing my licence again ( i loose my licence i loose my job )

i am not looking for proformance. i am just wanting a cool looking cruiser that can make it up hills as i live in dunedin

vw engines have the most parts available... anything from a 40hp 1200 to at 400hp 2300 turbo is easily (if not cheaply) achievable
personally I plan on putting together a 2l once I have my paint & panel out of the way...
how hard is it to bolt up a 2lt into a bug?? do they all bolt up the same?
i am not looking for somehting with outright power but i live in dunedin so it needs some so it can make it up the hills. lol i was thinking bout doing something along the lines of what you have done with your bug but i am after a hoodride look for it. something down right mungril will do me just nicely.
yup all held in with the same 4 bolts, just the barrels, pistons and crank that vary the case stays the same (bar some clearancing for large strokes and boring for large barrels)...

but to be honest your probably best off getting a 1600 with duals and keeping it in tune, beetles are pretty light and geared reasonably lowly so will climb hills without much bother...

hey guys i am looking for some info on some bug or bus'(kombi's) i am looking into geting 1 as a project to bag out on widened steelys. i am wanting to find out motor specs and the likes ( like what will bolt into a bug of bus, cc wise. and genrel proformance go fast bits.)
any info would be great or if i can be pointed to a web site where i can find this info.

nah bo, cut the springs and put some chromies on it dawg... i think we are going to have to make zeb 2jzgte it. failing that it needs the oil cooler on the front bumper and some bigass boso pipes. HARD

rear left quater, and driver and passanger windows, but these can just be cut. the chrome devider and regulator are going to be a mission to find
ill hunt out the records for th guy we did it for as he just 100% restored his one so ill ask him if he has or can get any spairs.

what windows do you need because we had 1 of these come into work just before x mas and we manages to get a brand new windscreen for 1 and a new windscreen rubber.(i work at novus dunedin) it was a nightmare of a job as half the interior had to be taken apart to get the screen in. and the chrome was a hole other kettle of fish....

it should just be double sided taped on. heat it up with a heat gun when u do try to remove as that it does not take the paint work with it
