  1. Nah pumps rather different being the turbo one. Think I've got it sorted today. Have being playing with the pump for the last couple days and have worked out a few things as to which part affects what.

Got a bit concerned when it overheated idling for a while today but common sense prevailed and now the penny has dropped.

Inside this pump is kinda like wastegate diaphragm that you can rotate to alter the amount on enrichment unr boost and you can also adjust the preload on it which alters the ramp rate.

Got really lost between those two and the full load screw and had to start over yesterday, was rather Angus with myself for a bit.

  2. Hmmmm... Something is coming back to me ........... Did I figure that if the fuel filter(that need to be on the other side of the engine bay) was moved there would be space for the gate to sit there under the master cylinder?????? Hmm maybe.

To be honest the mounting of the gate isn't that much of a drama. I'd start looking at Morevimportant things like the oil filter relocation situation. Will need a custom plate made to bolt to the block. Look closely you'll see wat I mean.....

P steer wise just find a small unit you can relocate to the passenger side of the engine. I spent a fair wad of cash getting that rack rebuilt so make the most of it!

  3. Hey ya unskinny git^^^ nonraped loom= same issue try rape me this weekend and ill have the log splitter up ya so fast you wont know watsa going on till ive dropped you through the chipper and youve sprouted in the garden!

  4. MK2 cortina complete strut/hub/brake and lower control arm assemblies are the easiest to fit.

All you need to do is cut and redrill the top hats to suit the anglia bolt spacing in the strut tower.

the sway bar fits right in the cortina lower control arm- youll notice a small increase in track(wider stance) as the control arm is longer from the sway bar mounting point to the ball joint.

The consul 315 setup works- but the lower control arms are even longer than the mk2 cortina items. Usually when ive seen them used redrilling of the crossmember has been doen to bring the track back to a reasonable stance.

  5. Dedicated...... awesome

Hey with the mk2 struts are the lower control arms not avaiable new anymore- on the anglias i used to build we would run the whole strut- hub- brake and LCA assembly which gave a small amount of extra track on the front while stil keeping the swaybar mounting poisiton the same and no other messing round. Oh one other thing is in the beginning we would run the anglia top mount but found they would shit out regularly so ended up cutting and redrilling the cortina top mount which actually made quite a difference to the positive feel of the steering (and looked way better in the engine bay too!)

keep at it man- I love the anglias!!
