This is rough, but as you can see there is only a little room at the tips where it would need to be attached. -

yes am thinking rivnuts aswell. Just on how to attach them. Since Im using a single sheet I do not have any provisions for rivnuts from the top and I'm afrraid that if i apply pressure that I will end up distorting the sheet. Maybe spacers underneath?? -

Mean traced the template onto a new piece of card and it fits the car awsomely sweet. Now I need to find a way to attach the flare to the car? Any ideas? -

I couldn't turn the wheel, as can be seen in one of the first photo's the wheels were tied to the flare to keep shape, and I also put that carboard at the bottom, which would have prohibited moverment. I haven't really looked into the front of it. Mainly because I want to make each flare out of a single piece of aluminium. However, if I could incorporate some sort of attachement system it might be plausable -

I dont want to "just throw away money" however, in all honesty do you think people will pay any more than that for steels? Because to get them narrowed will be about 200, but then powedercoatring or paint will come on top of that?? -

If i can get 500-600 for the wheels then I will be happy. They cost me just over 600 for just the wheels, less importing etc -

FFS I'm a wheel whore!!. Always straying elsewhere. Never going to get anything done. Also, finding corrugated cardboard is a bitch. I have been trying to mock up flares for a while but nothing is working. Figured I will try to use corrugated and stick welding wire into holes then press against body to get contour then trace onto aluminium. Someone buy these off me so I can get something that works. Also, i should be studying. But hey, who does that. Also, since update without pics are useless, here is a photo of a happy kitten so that haters cannot hat anymore -

Lush as, thanks for the suggestions. Tyres will be atleast 3 months away if I used 2nd party to import. Dont know how long it would take using Ewan, sooo.....someone giz some 14x195/whatever so i can get them on there haha I've got some sheets of aluminium lying around, so I will mock up some flares before I do anything to the wheel and see how it goes from there. -

Measure = no, when I first contacted them I asked for a 3" backspace, I later changed this to asking for a 4" Their email turnaround is epicly slow, so when they eventually got back to me they made the 3" backspaced ones. Knowing the turnaround etc i just left it at that. I agree with you in that it isn't the best situation to be in, but, you learn, and I sure have. I've imported stuff both from japan and the states, and each time, you learn something about how it all works. But hey, as has been stated, it can be remedied, and there are many options to choose from. Now, onto solutions and awsomeness. Does anyone have experience in hamilton or greater waikato with someone that can change the offsest , take an inch out of the rim. Also, who in hamilton does powdercoating and how much does it cost? Yea I don't think back door will be an issue. Am looking into making some aluminium flares, or extending the ones I baught. Those big ass ones from the states are around the 800USD mark = too much. took some photo's of the lock, i forsee an issue. I might have to get them reduced by 1"? -

Also, how are those flares on that boso Bd made?? Preform or just bent plastic? and regarding wheel weights, im pretty sure these are lighter than the 17's on my car at the moment. -
