have painted a pair of the 13x8s and put on some nankang 175/50/13s have measured and the offset is -15. They're such a small tyre an have dropped the ride height a lot, not to sure if i'll use the same size on the front yet.

I spotted you leaving panel shop this evening, i was in ratty gemini. car looks awesome an quite low

discuss/disgust here

put other pair of rims on yesterday, will need some guard work in the rear in the very near future.
Now to find some smaller rubberbands and do something in the engine department. will most likely do paint last, personally hate the primer but was like this when i purchased it and needs more panel work done before i can think about painting it

Here's a couple of pics from when i first got it.
Pics from today
Joining the masses an doing the widened steel gag, picked up first pair from steel surgeon today and fitted them with gross 175/70/13s for now. They're 13x8 negative heaps offset.

hey guys this is my latest boat to replace the galant gt, its a 1972 mercedes 220 brand new wof on friday on some unknown "professionally lowered" springs.its a 4speed manual fuck i wish it was auto the manual sucks balls with its confusing-lift for reverse keep boosting forward in first instead-stz
thought best to post here as its not really a project/build at this stage?
all i plan to do is get it a bit lower with the original chrome hubcaps and whitewalls and use the fuck out of it for summer

i took gee lant to vtnz kingsland today for pink sticker removal, from my dads description the guy who checked it is 2nd in charge.
failed on
both headlights out of align (they are way on the piss)
both front coil springs loose (they are captive up and down but able to turn them for some reason moving them out of their seat)
l/f shock leaking (both front shocks are f@#$ed)
remedy play both front steering links(tie rod ends? these are rooted)
things he missed :
siezed rear caliper
one of the front shocks leaking
very loose drivers seat on mount
those lower control arm mounts to the struts are roooooted
exhaust has quite a few leaks
overall im pretty happy with the outcome as these are things i knew were wrong before i took it in and only half of them were picked up.
also super stoked at lack of any mentioning of rust on a 1981 mitsi
-
anything thats half decent i guess? if its not black thats ok i can dye it or something? just want to tidy up the boot really
-

sorry not reading properly just saw your coming back to auckland haha 50 for that carpet and is there any other trim in the boot phil? plastics etc? mine is completely stripped
