if u want albany Alistair was referring to Reservoir bar in the back lane of the Westfield Albany which has heaps of car parks in front of it... good for car peeps. The other place on the more bogan side is the Old Albany Pub at the bottom of the big hill just thru the Old Albany village which has massive parking lot, no good for skids due to every pothole on the north shore being confined to this one area. And yes Crazytim lives in Albany lol. I will be playing with my toys in my barn.

Lol I have 5 more worthy chevettes/geminis... gave cabriolet to the wife but she doesnt use it at the moment. Plus only one of my 5 is complete and almost wofable lol. The story of oldschool car ownership especially when you try and do 5 at a time heheh

A 350Z has been Old School enough for the others so a 89 Mazda will be sweet, dunno bout the cabriolet though -is it pink?

TG Wags: Chrome vette bumper @ rear, chrome TX bumper up front, licence plate mounts shaved off boot, 17" lensoes, bought as painted shell finished in aqua greeny metallic. Pretty stock otherwise. Fresh engine fitted

Vette wags: Ex slidenyo, got off another guy after he had, was advertised as a Gemini with a 1.8L, got it site unseen off tard me

and got it home from hams to find it was a chevette with a 1.6L... not to worry, she came panelled with engine bay, internal door jams pillars etc all painted in 'cinnabar' which is in my opinion a niiice color. Came with the G161, 5spd, gem diff/tank etc not sure what else has been done, will be putting a front clip from a TX/C/D early shape gem it... eventually. Till then she is company with Borgweisers Jag/borgward in my barn, along with my 2 hatchs and lil bros escort.Have since decided it will be painted cream with dark red interior. Cinabar paint was given away.

MK1 Chevini: Frontal convo from chevette to TX/C Gemini, prof job. Undergoing Isuzu G161, 5 speed, diff convo plus probably sand

back the spraybomb matty b paintjob and spray her with some satin blk... maybe. 13" Cheviot turbos not a lot else... Ended up putting G200z (2L Piazza motor) with twin 40mm Weber IDFs and spending a butt load on rust repairs... nearly done!

MK2 Chevini: Funnily enough owned this before all the others, since sept '06. Chevette repainted in 2K Kermit green, ripped vette

guards, nosecone off putting later RWD gem front on (TF/G) engine...no idea what to run with yet, probably do a

temporary G161 convo just to get it going sooner and start lookin around...maybe rotor... dunno. Allegedly has a piazza

LSD in it, have 4 pot RX& calipers with vented discs for front, probably run std piazza discs/calipers on rear. Other than fixing some minor rust and painting engine bay havnt done a lot to her...

Cabriolet: 17" ROH Adrenalins, (from my 1st Dohc Turbo RIP) New outter hood shell, has DOHC 1600 standard but peppy enough for daily use. Everyone says its girly but fuk em! Gave to wifey... did interior up a bit... sold it due to too many cars not enough funds

Me... Obviously love vettes and geminis. Love the simplicity and the fact that you don't generally get reamed when getting parts (like with escorts, old mazdas etc.. which i do love also, too rich for my blood at present (the old mazdas that is... wop wop wop) also features such as no dirty ol leaf springs in the rear, being able to chop n change parts and the changing of the front clips making chevinis...

Currently working on 3 chevettes and have this gem wag and another one which is probably goin to slidenyo.

Chucked a TX gemi bumper on it up front and a chuvit bumper on the rear, both in chrome.

Back # plate was already shaved when i got it. Think i like it...doesnt realy matter gana end up with a fleet, can do 1 of every kind i can think of lol

man next time for sure... needs some representation from the gm-t boys lol... looks mean guys keep it up!

fark!!!~ only just found this thread... my oldschoolers are a way off anyway, is an 89 Mazda Cabriolet (ragtop familia) old enough? Hope yous take heaps of cool piccys! Next month no good either, wife will be popping my 2nd born child out somewhere around then! Like somebody already mentioned, therel be plenty more tuesdays, in fact I checked the calender, theres one every week!
