nah bro im at uni aye. Ive had the ute for a while tho.
-
U got axle stands bro? Cos if you do I could be keen for a hand. I will give you a buzz sometime......

Nah man, I tried the same thing by putting 93 gtx sedan stuts and shocks into a 91 323 wagon. The wagons run the same front end as the oldschool sedans and hatches......
by oldschool I mean the fwd shape about 8?-88?
-
yea I wont know that until I take the tyres off. Ah well if I really want to get them apart I will.
-
PLEASE paint the centres red on those! It will look so relentlessly fucking awesome against the powder blue.
Like... cunts in the street will simply double over in agony as the awesome radiating from within the central regions of those TR-V's (when coated in a luxurious shade of scarlet of course) will piercing their central-awesome-recognising regions with unrelenting force.
Fucken lol. What colour red were you thinking? cos in my head they dont look as awesome as you described......

syp boes, I got some meke 3 piece rims but they are riveted together. I eventually want to clean them up properly as, take em apart get centres blasted and get bands fixed up and polished till they look new. My question is can I get the rivets drilled out and just whack some s/s bolts through or will I need to get them re-riveted?
Chur,
Dave

Fuck yeh wheels are sweet, tyres could be worse but will be easy improvement when you have the money. These being wider than the usual 6.5" makes a lot of difference too, easy resale too. Could do with a repaint though, hard to tell. Meh will be mega mean daily.
yea centres are abit gay(paint wise). to do it properly the need to be taken right back. I will prob rock em on this for a while then throw them on the ute when thats on the road. The rims are 3piece but they are riveted toghether. when I get fix them up would it be all gravy to drill out rivets and whack some bolts through that shit?
-
Oh chur boe. will look sweet. Man I wish the wagons got irs like the sedans. I myt try the whole tube over the strut spear(cant for the life of me remeber what its name is) under the gland nut to keep this shit captive. ghetto 910 build is on....
-
yea a dude makes them down here for like 30ish bucks(the bolts I mean) but I am broke as fuck at the mmnt.
-
Showing the offset. should fill the guards nicely.
Fuck it is rudely high. lol. plz donate lowering blocks and cutting disks to my lowering fund.
-
nah you allowed a 70% on the front and a 0% strip that can only drop down by 100mm or some shit. tints are dumb, clear windows look way better imo
-
I used to have 15's on my old wagon. It was a pain in the fucken ass. not so much with the police but you cant fucken see anything at night. if you do 35's all round with a 70 on the front windscreen (legal limit) it is still fairly dark
-
keen. hopefully get the wagon out there this time.
-
Yea i had better shutup before I look lyk a nob. I dont know 5/8ths of head design. Good luck to both of you and I eagerly await results.

by drill holes everywhere in nearly every thing wouldnt that take a heap of strength out of alot of stuff. like the strut brace. wouldnt that flex heaps.

Yuh, isnt that a bit of a cop out? by breaking the rules from the start and handing the win to nismo seems almost a waste of peoples time and effort. meh mayne im getting the wrong message.
i don't see the point in having a ultimate head comp and then limiting what you can do
this is a test of ability and knowledge ...
im happy to have it done by the 1st of september
and i'm sure someone will get something pritty dam choice
thats fine and all, but I understood this to be a competition to see who could port a head the best. I may be way off the mark but a flow bench will show whose head does flow the best and therefore who has the best port and combustion chamber design?

Fuckin bang bitches.

This will be fucking valuble for future reference for anyone building a pinto. And im sure principles tested in these heaps will have some application on other non-pinto builds. I will watch with great interest.

So what can and cant be modded? will they both run the same carbs? same compression ratio? wouldnt it be a more subjective test to work a head and use a common bottom end on a dyno?/ I dont know where either of you live so I dont even knoe that would be possible

I thought that in a race car you could run a little bit of bumpsteer? Helping with turn in? I cant remeber where I heard that so it is probly wrong.
