yeah, I had a book on engine tuning that had a similar article. Alot of the bellmouth's that people run are purely cosmetic and actually flow worse than a bare carb/throttle body. That reminds me, I need to get that book back....

I'm gonna try incorporate a butterfly valve type thing into the exhaust on my 7 else its never gonna have a chance.

Yuh some flash cars have this meke spring loaded valve this so when you give it a bootfull the pressure goes big and opens the valve in you exhaust quiet at idle but loud as fuck up the top end. could be somthing to look into/too hard
