  1. ^ I lold

Also, proportions. Its all about PROPORTIONS.

First off, everything ever made looks good slammed, or atleast very low; and with wide wheels. The dia of the wheels is taken from the size of the car and the gaurds. keep wheels in proportion with the car size and the gaurd size (there are huge exemptions from this however) and you're on a winner.

Also, period correct is important to most people into cars and a lot of the time I rekon that's such a good idea it hurts. Volk flash chrome/g zeros (dont look good on anything) wont look good on anything pre mid 90s etc

bla bla bla do whatever you like its your car bla bla (listen to Elliot) but my god just keep it in proportion

I'm only writing this because I'm bored and there needs to be more good NAs in NZ, fact.

  2. I had this in my truck, real bad at times a while ago. I think I had mad crap in my fuel tank/filter/bowl and was stopping and starting fuel flow. Ended up cleaning out tank, blowing out lines and shit etc. Think that's how I fixed it. So yeah, do what ^he says and see if it helps.

Check your timing? Check dist cap isn't corroded up? Does the carb have a float bowl window at all? I'm calling fuel but it'd take 2 mins to check those anyway

  3. Suspension I already have is old and once lowered this much the springs will be going upside down!!!

    Dear Gaz

In regards to leaf springs having a negative arch (i.e. inverse of most factory leaf spring archs), a leaf spring is plainly just a flat piece of spring steal with an arch in it. The fact that the arch is now rainbow shaped instead of half pipe shaped is neither here nor there. You will find that many vehicles out there, although not as common; accommodate an 'inverse' arch leaf design.

    Yours faithfully

    Chris

    p.s.

    Wheels are only 16"

16's, no matter how wide are still 16" wheels on a Ford Escort and I cannot condone this.

    Again, yours faithfully

    Chris

  4. Just get a cert for the suspension. It's a piece of cake unless you're doing something dodgey

Everyone makes a big deal about them but the only gay thing about certs is paying for them, and if you want to be low (you do) and drive it on the street then it's money well invested.

edit: yes you pay a bit more for engine conversions etc aswell. would be cheaper to just cert suspension. any markings/numbers on those shocks?
