Perhaps, but what I mean is that the tolerances of the components and wires etc they used from factory must have been pretty tight if a couple of longer wires makes it read incorrectly.

Yeah it sounds like it's just some kind of voltage divider, so what you really need to do is increase the resistance on the other side of the divider.

That's going to be easier than decreasing resistance on the sense side.

Edit: still, seems strange that a few ohms of cable can make such a difference. I wonder how they tuned them from the factory.

I've used it a long time ago on a shit Chinese welder. My current setup on CO2 is way better.

I guess the main thing about CO2 for me is that you can have an owner bottle for cheap (1 years argoshield rental bottle pays off the whole CO2 owner bottle) and it does the job.
