It seems to be specific to the bigger ratchets because none of my bahco files have gone bad.

have had bad run with bahco ratchets handles in the $300 multi kits they sell, they don't take well to getting any engine / hydraulic oil on the handles and worse to brake cleaner trying to get it off. apart from that they are a quality ratchet, though the statement itself renders them useless, annoying using spongy slippery shitty handles to the point ive replaced a few with a horribly expensive 80 clicker.

I know you guys are Toyota hard but perhaps consider a Triton? For the price of a 2WD Lux you can get a fully optioned double cab 4WD Triton - they have pretty much the same power and torque delivery too. I never really liked the look of the front of the Hilux but the rear of the Triton is nothing to write home about also. The Triton is the only ute which offers in-cabin selectable rear differential lock-up control.

Not that high revving and doesnt pull well over 12k. But thats probably more that the air box doesnt seal on the carb. Even with duct tape and silicone.

its a hunk of shit gsx400x impulse, 400cc 4cylinder DOHC but with shitty twin port carbs. weak point on the bike. until 170-180 when coils show there weak shitty bits that should be on hyobag

theres no way an angle grinder and a welder will get to .01 mil but will get lumpy

yea some weld them up to increase lift, most will reduce the base circle and run bigger shims. To do this accurately with an angle grinder you would have to be a robot. You wont get any gains if it even runs at all
