I was talking with wayne the other day as i'm scratch building a new car and basically was told nothing at all below the scrub line... scrubline being the line drawn around the vehicle at the bottom edge of the rims!

probably best to run with the PX600, cos although the C1051 will fit the ram tubes, there is not enough room between them.

cheers for the replies. They aren't actually for me, I have customers who buy my ram tubes who then also want socks, so if thats what they want then thats cool i'll seel them some.
But I do see where you guys are coming from, if they are tight on the bellmouth then thats surely going to affect the flow over the radiused edge.

I'm trying to source some sock filters to fit 4age ram tubes. They are 85mm across the bellmouth and there is nothing off the shelf from Pipercross, ITG or Unifilter... Got any other suggestions as to what might fit??

B1600 into econovan???
Can anyone confirm that a B1600 diff will fit a ford econovan??

I gotta agree, we always etch prime first then skim with bog....remember that bog can absorb moisture so yoou don't want that shit next to your bare steel!!

We usually put some grease in behind them to prevent the rubbing and redo it every couple of months

i've got a mates early vw notch sitting at my workshop, already slammed and quite tidy too...not on the road yet but he will get it legal for the right price..not sure what that is though?? or even a late squareback project available too
