ahaha those pics turned out men as!!!!!
thanks andrew.
They arnt too bad, camera doesnt like the semi-darkness so they needed to be touched up in photoshop
-
Logan just popped round so I took some daylight pics
Looks sooooo much cooler in person
Ignore the Honda if you want I just like the pic
-
Looks so much better, those rims just need to be slightly bigger/wider and needs to be slightly lower.
Just gotta wait for the cert aye
-
Nah rotor wouldn't be as sweet and I'm pretty sure B18c-r would probably be too tall for a small car. Even in civics and shit they are a squeeze, imagine it in a morris.
B16a is a cheap option and would have to be the best power/litre/dollar available from any piston engine conversion.
B18c is only 10mm taller than a B16a, they fit civics no probs, its the H22a's that are tight
-
Its absolutely fine as far as legality goes.
Be prepared to loose your sanity as its a lot of work.
Heres a pic of a work in progress from one of the Honda Boys:
-
Should fully B16a this! The engines will last forever (300,000+ks easy when treated right)
B16A longblock=$300
Civic TypeR Pistons
Integra Type R Cams
Integra Type R Double Valve Springs
Intake, Headers, Exhaust
Tune
Easy 125kw atw all day everyday at 8500rpm all for about $1200 if you know the right people, then you just need gearbox and your away laughing
Or just chuck in a B18c-R with intake headers and exhaust with a Hondata ECU and make 150kw atw

Looks good callum, if its going to be as tidy as K3RMIT then it will be mint
(i know your brothers, so im not a stalker lol)

Gunna be mean Logan!!
I think logan said those wheels are $250 each? might be less?
-
What you gonna replace it with?
He already has a R31 Skyline, in desperate need of a drop
-
I just got a tub of Mothers polish from Ripco (500g for $10) works wonders on my valve cover
-
if you are in whakatane as your profile says then just go to Mobile Signs and Graphics out gateway drive, or Law signs in town.
They can make anything you want, could even wrap your whole car in vinyl if you really wanted
-
But then they wont fill out the guards and be 'flush' with the body work.
Its about getting the widest/lowest offset wheels onto the car without having to shorten the diff, its not all about performance.
If teh above car had the wheels sitting 20mm further inside the guards it would look anywhere near as good, plus the track is wider.
-
You pretty much have my dream line up right there
-
you'd be fucked. judder bumps to kill.
Makes it over all the speed bumps in the middle of Whakatane, dont know how though? They are long ones so we all thought it would bottom out.
Its just a pity I didnt have the camera out on the way to trackday, could have some mean footage of this beast sparkin' and chassis slappin'
-
That guy with the bighorn & gto in the background always parks next to me when I go to work.
Small world..
Yea thats Marcus, car is deceptively quick for a whale.
Those pics were at a taupo trackday last month that a few of us Whakatane guys attended, I raced my Type R and Logan got a go at lunchtime.
Probably the most gangster car to ever lap Taupo Track 2

Some non cell-phone pics for you bro
