  1. Top engine mount went in/lined up no worries, lower one needed a peice welded to the frame, but pretty simple, will try and remember to take a photo for ya, I've got a FR80 for the misses I want to put a 125 pitbike motor into aswel, so much better to ride with the bigger motors, just means you can get out in front/ away from traffic easier, safest place to be on a hog is away the fuck away from everyone. Also the 125cc four strokes do better burnouts

Was good to use it regularly again

Thanks to Russell (LOW'N'SLOW) I got a CD90 rear guard section that I could work with

Needs the other side finished and some more shaping, but overall pretty happy with it,

Once it gets a layer of humus and bread sticks, should look pretty sweet

  5. So after taking it to lead foot, and riding around up there, the motor was struggling to hold onto all of its oil

So for my 30th just been, my misses organized everyone to chip in for a new motor. Thanks to everyone that did, ended up with more than she needed for a 125cc replacement, so upgraded to a 140cc

So Im waiting on a whole bunch of parts to come in, but figured I can start cleaning up the frame and what not.

I want to run some really big tires, as big as I can without widening the forks, or extending the swing arm, but will mos likely flare the rear of the frame for clearance,  If anyone can shed some light on how big I could possible go, that would be a big help in giving me somewhere to start

    Cheers

  6. So I was thinking about this bike today, and kinda realized Ive taken it all over the place.

Brought it from the naki, riden everywhere around Wellington, took it on a 12 day road trip around the whole south island (back on page one, down the west coast up the east), taken it to Napier swap meet and rode it around there,
took it to lead foot and rode the drive way and then around the coromandel,

  7. might just put this here for anyone keen aswel

Engine is sweet, tho has been sitting for awhile unused but never gave me any issues. was rebuild at some stage as far as receipts go

Will need cert for drop spindles and custom mounting of the type 1 beam in the the type 3 floor pan.

Rust wise is sweet, has been dry stored for the last 4 plus years, have a full set of quarter panels front and rear.

will need a steering damper put back in, sun roof is still smashed and is running a poly carb replacement at the moment. cant really think what else.
