Chuck em in the back of the MR2, and bring them to OSN Peet.
Also fuck, I went to Christchurch on the weekend too. I could have checked them in and taken them on the 29 bus. There was someone else on the bus carrying car numberplates

Thanks Pete.
I have a catcher but would love an intact mesh for the vents on the top if you have one.
Happy to pay
I keep forgetting to look

My dad reckons it's now cheaper to buy LPG and pay with Visa card than Rockgas card at some stations. But also his LPG Volvo has been parked for 2 months waiting for parts lol
/Does anyone want to buy a 2002 Volvo V70 2.4L bifuel 5-speed manual with like 300,000km? It's got a neat factory fitted LPG thing with hoses into each inlet manifold runner instead of a weird conversion thing.

I have two catchers to suit this mower if you want to somehow get them from Auckland

What's the difference?
Weird old fashioned dashboard, drum rear brakes, door cards don't cover the doors. And 14" pepperpots and 1.6 but this guy's put phase 2 wheels and a GTI6 engine on/in it.

It sold for $8450 two months ago

I can't see FB Marketplace but assume it doesn't have a cert for the engine conversion
And it's a gross phase 1

CNG! That was that straight-from-the-ground shit eh?
All the rage in the early 80s, but the distribution network never made it to the South Island.
I guess when Taranaki gas got scarcer CNG became too expensive compared to LPG.
And it was a lot less energy dense than LPG.
Like it was about 20 litres per hundred Kays in your average early 80s jap mobile. From memory.
Or maybe CNG was subsidised by the govt and the subsidies ran out?
Iirc needed chunkier tank and/or couldn't hold more than like 150km worth of fuel.
My dad has some weird Northern Ireland import Volvo V70 factory dual fuel LPG thing. Pretty sure he's spent about 10x as much on repairs than what it's saved on fuel. It somehow wasn't picked up on at compliance that it had an LPG tank etc but eventually failed a wof when someone noticed (several years later) and had to get a new tank because the old one was rusty and allegedly a disaster waiting to happen.

I noticed a few places near me have been using grooved deck stuff as fence palings. Is there some fence timber shortage or are these guys just all weirdos?

If they're anything like Haval/Great wall, they'll be shit even under warranty. We were swapping parts between cars before they even went on the yard because they had issues straight from factory. Parts availability pre-covid was bad, I can't imagine what it's like now.
I couldn't believe seeing a Great Wall ute getting repaired at a panel beater a few days ago. I thought a fender bender would be a write off.
