    I paid fuck all though.

    I have a few runs and the enginebay is less than pleasing

    My guy seems happy to redo it, but that will set me back a fuckload. I'm am just going put the motor in and get the innerwings redone etc.

    Next time I am def going to give it a shot myself aye, atleast if I fuck up I only have myself to blame.

    I'm happy enough for the time being though

  2. haha I probably had the shittiest array of cars at my school.

    First my uno sting drove it to school when i was 14 (fuck im rural)

    Then the capri before it was taken off the road with patchy paint, fucked pinto and monster truck guard clearance..

    The my b1600 for a few months with a dodgey wof

    and my galant.

    :(

    The other kiddies had legacy gt's, a few gtx's, a guy had a ke25 and the jocks all had matching bagged hiluxes

  3. yeah pre Evo4 will have exhaust on drivers side while Evo4 onwards will be on passenger side. I haven't compared an Evo 4-9 block to an Evo 1-3/VR-4 block but the head is pretty much mirrored. Evo 4-9 is the same like how Evo 1-3 is, just minor differences. Evo X is completely different. You wont find an Evo4+ engine for cheap, that's for sure.

    non turbos are same deal, although there is no DOHC 4G63 N/A in evo4 orientation, just 4G64 and 4G69.

    You'll need a pre Evo block as it will have RWD mounts whereas Evo don't, also it will be front sump so that may be an issue. Starion block would be ideal but then you'll need a Starion gearbox to go with it. Sigma or L200 gearbox will fit N/A and VR-4 blocks.

    If you're after an N/A DOHC engine for cheapness, find one from an E33A Galant or pre-94ish RVR.

  4. Am I right in thinking that a twincam 4g63 in a north/south position the exhaust will be on the drivers side? It looks that way on the early heads but different on the newer ones?

    Haha nah, I thought the 4g would be cheapish, powerful and different. I want to go turbo at this stage not too sure why really, just want to.

    An Rb or jz would be a pretty cool but from what I have seen they fetch abit of wedge and the gearbox's go for crazy money.
