Picked up a hot 4s with the groceries today. Opened it up to find an extra oldschool special mag aswell.

has usual mix of rx2s and 3s aswell as a few dattos. also has an alright mk1 escort.

Havn't figured out why i brought the mag but might almost have been worth it.

Is a driveshaft from a mk2 escort the same as the ones on the panel vans? I need a new driveshaft for my van so wana make sure they are the same before i start searching for one.

ive got a 1 piece of my mk1 van and i have a mk2 2 piece aswell

if you need one .

and i think apart from autos all driveshafts are the same on ecorts

some one will corect me if im wrong .

Had GT Radials on my brothers last car. They are pretty average. Had toyo proxes on my last car and they were pretty good. Only $150 each aswell which was way better that anything i was quoted at tonys.

Lancer: purchase a link. gather togethr manifold and get the fucken thing running. then blow up and rebuild with forged engine.

Ute looks awesome. and came together so quickly. Gona be a mean tow car.

The time has finally come to start work on the starion. the escort is pretty much done and the lancer is waiting on some funds for a link so the starion has made it's way into the garage.

Plans:

Rebuild engine with bigger turbo and multipoint

Make a custom front to go with the kit

Fit coilover suspension

Panel and Paint, don't know what colour yet

Put nice exhaust on it

and ehjoy driving it.

It has only done 37000 miles so the interior is in good condition. gearbox feels to be good aswell and hoping the factory LSD is also in excellent condition.

Pulled the head off. Now have to pull the block out. engine has a loud knocking. Think its big end.

Yeah its a blue. colour is cool but body not the straightest. Spayed it myself and learning as i go. Once the van on the road will be selling it and then hopefully starting my starion. have to get the lancer running again aswel. It not going due to stupid ecu so had enough and going multipoint with a link.

Loving the colour. Have achieved heaps in the last few days.

Went into bunnings yesterday and they had a gravity feed kit with three guns. One 1.1mm touch up gun, a 1.4 and a 1.7mm paint gun all for $130. they could be ok.

Would you like some engine with that blower.

Is that two blowers stacked ontop of each other?

A starion gearbox has the same mounts as an EX gearbox. But pretty sure the bellhousing is different. The starion uses a hydrolic clutch. Unsure what sigma is.

Yeah they not wanting to come out. think i might cut them off and weld back on when the time comes. Will have another go at the pins first.
