Have got a 1994 mitsi vr4 with a v6 twin turbo 6A12. When it starts it makes no noise but when it warms up it sounds like some one is trying to get out of the motor and they are useing a pick hammer to get out. It sounds evil. If i thrash it it makes no noise and when i am gentle with it it sounds shocking. A mechanic things it is not internal. It sounds like a bearing to me but i am a panelbeater not a mechanic. May be there is a common problem with this v6 or maybe this has happened to you. Any help will be gratefully accepted.

I have a 4g63t with a 8 valve head and it is running a large intercooled turbo i want to know the best thing to do to the head for performance.I have been told never polish and dont make the inlet valves bigger and how grunty do i make the cam ?

Hi there i have a 1980 gt galant with a 4g63t sirius 80 engine. I want to put a 12 valve head on it but all i can find is a head of a gsr 3 starion but the the inlet manifold will not bolt on. The dash motor is wide block so the head of it will not fit mine.Does any head exist that will bolt on to my block and take my manifolds ?
