i have a twin cam head sitting in storage and it is wide port as its just the head and i can see the ports. i do not know what i have on my blue top but i believe its small port. doesnt the 4agze have some forged internals? there is something about the block thats stronger

PICS ADDED!!!
THE SIDE OF ONE BLOCK
YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE OIL FEED THING ON THE SIDE??? IMNOT SURE WHAT IT IS THIS IS ON THE OTHER BLOCK
if you look at the first photo that silver thing looks like a actuator kinda
i took anothe photo side by side so you can compare the blocks also i got this little round thing what is it? :S ita a bearing for something but what?

just red the nz classic driver mag, there is a escort built and raced by Don Halliday fully restored to how it was when it raced in '74 its powered by a bda but the price is a whoping 65k
retep130 what area have you seen the rs1600?

all right guys i would post this on toyspeed, but i cant join as they dont allow hotmail accounts, so i will ask here i have just picked 2 blocks up they are 4age blocks, i have a feeling they are different and maybe not bluetop.
The numbers on one of the block are - o11 and y29 with a k after it and the other is y20 o22 does any body know what one is what?
i think one might be a red top block and the other a 4agze block, as i got a 4agze intake manifold and one(or half) of a red top rocker cover(there is 2 rocker covers on red top 4ages) i also got a head with them and it is a wide intake head is there any way i can tell?
all help much appreciated

its not a lsd is it?
yea i could be keen on it and rotarua sounds good
-
will it bolt in? or will there need to be modifications done to my chassis? how much would it cost to send to auckland?
-
Methodz100 - nah, only one was spinning.
nismo.capri - will the atlas rear end from the 3L mk1 capri bolt in? also i dont have much coin at the mo other wise i would go for the lsd. would putting something more common in mean lots of fabrication?
the previous owner said that the diff i recently blew was tightened thats why you could hear it whineing, that wouldnt contribute to blowing the diff would it?
-
i have already blown mine i blew it on the 26th doing a line lock. so thats why i want to upgrade the diff
my tires are 185/60r14 with bridgestone conselfa's
-
i would say i have around 120hp i am not too sure, i spoke to a guy who i got my replacement diff and he said the 1300cc motors blew them with ease.
maybe it doesnt have the 3.54 diff in it i am not sure
-
i want to upgrade my diff, and i was wondering what other diff head would fit in the standard housing for my estate, i think it has the 3.5 in it now and its not strong enough, what other paths could i go down to get a stronger diffi n there without costing an arm and a leg?
all help much appreciated
