does anyone have connections to get me a cheap good clutch kit for a 4age? eg. exedy
-
its not a lsd is it? yea i could be keen on it and rotarua sounds good
-
will it bolt in? or will there need to be modifications done to my chassis? how much would it cost to send to auckland?
-
Methodz100 - nah, only one was spinning. nismo.capri - will the atlas rear end from the 3L mk1 capri bolt in? also i dont have much coin at the mo other wise i would go for the lsd. would putting something more common in mean lots of fabrication? the previous owner said that the diff i recently blew was tightened thats why you could hear it whineing, that wouldnt contribute to blowing the diff would it?
-
i have already blown mine i blew it on the 26th doing a line lock. so thats why i want to upgrade the diff my tires are 185/60r14 with bridgestone conselfa's
-
i would say i have around 120hp i am not too sure, i spoke to a guy who i got my replacement diff and he said the 1300cc motors blew them with ease. maybe it doesnt have the 3.54 diff in it i am not sure
-
i want to upgrade my diff, and i was wondering what other diff head would fit in the standard housing for my estate, i think it has the 3.5 in it now and its not strong enough, what other paths could i go down to get a stronger diffi n there without costing an arm and a leg? all help much appreciated

just wondering does anyone have any info on the bluetop tvis motor? the info i seem to find on google about them in sonfusign and some is contradictroy, what power do they have stock? what is their rev limiter set at? how much torque do they have?
-
i have found another bluetop engine and was thinking of possibly turboing it, what would it take for it to get a turbo working on it? would i be able to make it turbo being high compression and all? are all blue tops high compression? if not what would be some good mods to do to the motor to get some good power out of it?
-
no i pick it up on friday i hope!! it needs some surface rust fixed on it, i have a mate who owns a panel beating shop so ill take it to him, i am going to take it to peter vanbrougle's to get the fuel pump/fuel pick up sorted out. and i am going to carpet the boot to make it look nicer. it may need a new front bearing but thats no biggie, windscreen has a crack in it but he said it seemed to stop craking so ill leave it for now and maybe sort something out when i get back to auckland in jan next year(unless i can find one before i go away) Draizuh - found out its the high compression motor so i wont be super charging it BUT! i found a guy who is pulling one out of a ae86 and is willing to sell it to me, so i will tinkle with that motor and see what i can do with it waiting to hear on a price. he said he also has a exedy clutch kit but i dont think i cann afford that right now
