  1. today was an accomplishment thanks to rich(snoozn) and retep180 (pete) and massive thanks you you guys!

fitted some bigger jets he had laying round and they made a big difference it runs and drives alot better, found where the squeak was being generated from also

just need to to a couple of other minor things which should sort it completely *touch wood*

  2. only bought the parts to help stop the fuel spitting out the vents as a couple of the needles were touch and go, shaneo i might hit you up for the carb balancer in the new year once i sort the over fueling issue

  3. another question the fuel reg i have here doesn't have a fuel return line? do i need to run one of this carb setup with mechanical pump or will it be find without it? what have others done?

  4. Discussion thread here - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/35529-mk2-gts-tt133-corona/

I have had the car since early - mid jan and thought i would chuck up a build thread for you all to check out

Bought the car from Turners in Hamilton bone standard deceased estate and thought it would be a good base

then ordered some springs to what i thought would be a good height not the best pic

i swiftly decided it wasn't to my liking at that height so i proceeded to lower it more and cheers to snoozin for lending me his brights racing wheels to use until mine arrived from japan. i had tried on another couple of style wheels for ideas also (sorry for bad cellphone pics)

thought i would paint the inner lights yellow to see how it looked

once again the bug bit and i lowered it a touch more ( slowly getting to the right ride height) also added a tractor flap for the lol's which now just sits on my shelf in the garage, i also installed a cd player but hid it in the glove box as i wanted to keep the interior looking as factory as possible

my wheels eventually turned up from japan and no time was wasted getting them dipped and painted (colour was chosen/mixed after a few beers and bourbons)

  5. Hey guys i finally got my carb setup on to my 2-Tc, im not running a low fuel pressure reg so i think its over fueling it as they are meant to run at 3psi and its spitting the fuel out the front and vent holes at the top. I have also noticed a nice little squeak noise its making which is hard to tell in this video until the end when i shut it off.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!
