as long as its the later housing it seems as i have vpss diff here as well I test fitted to a vn carrier,
biggest thing with the bw is the whine caused by the pinion crush bush flogging out,
fix is to put a solid one in at the correct depth,
remember also the earlier bw78 carriers are narrower and although the gearsets swap the lsds/heads won't as they got wider from vn onwards exception being vl turbo and v8 which got the wider carrier and also the 2l vn which got the narrower earlier one.

bw78 in mine atm, 2 pin lsd from early falcon with 25 spline axles from a vl, 3.23 gears for the glide with 15's may yet go 2.92's,
after I upgrade to a vs centre I can run billet 31 spline axles with the later carrier.
gears available up to 4.11s (out of 2l vn) and the lsds swap out between breeds I have a 4 pin falcon lsd in my newer carrier from a vt II

also skip straight to 20w50 if its using oil,
its a mitsi so it will be, def tensioner though
i'm with diddy on skipping the wp replace that when it fails

Yeah they're slow but for scrap N machinery retrieval they're boss, dads is 2wd non turbo but we did a number on the pump and it pulls hard now although needs a detune every cof to pull the smoke/coal back abit.
He hardly gets stuck an has a lighter tare than 4wd although he's bloody adept at using the hiab to drag himself out of the shito

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/trucks/crane/auction-612913456.htm
something like this Andrew is what my old man runs,
easy to load cars just wrap a chain through and hoik em on,
normally this size on a 12-13 ton sticker ,
4x4 not essential but these trucks are pretty capable with it.
-
guys obviously correct in a sense,
but i'd target drink driving and lack of attention over old cars,
I love leaning on the horn till faggots give up on there phone conversations.

mates gtxx charade did this ,
we put it all back to factory and it went way better,
he said the map sens was out of range
-
put a 308 in same effect
-
green brothers brought that 323 to last dirtdrags,
was a bit of a pity he couldn't find the right tyres or it would have probably hooked up and hoiked the front wheels
-
put a slightly heavier spring behind the pin that rides the copper ring and touch it up with wet an dry
-
mate did extensive research on this consulted allsorts of keyboard warriors and eventually made some phone calls to other jetboat operators who all run MSD kit after years of trying everything.
The call was its a reliable product and has to be as the yanks are very prone to gossip if something fails.
Bad press knocks back sales and loss of spark normally throws you out of the river in a boat

$800 is fair add a two or three inch wider outer shell and you hav 9's or 10's may cost another $800
but that would only be 3-4 hunded more than new one piece wheels,
you would be paying for potential awesome
-
fish is obviously related directly to the average wage being a luxury food stuff it will be purchased more when the wage provides a surplus in the household income thus increasing demand an therefore by direct correllation increasing the price of said fish at wholesale and then by turn to the customer.
I'm a dick i'd pay $800 and would expect to sell them for $1000 they are scene, they are rare, they have potential,
if you get em for $600 you'd be expected to supply a reacharound and i'd pay another $200 to not have the displeasure
-
$200 a corner is hardly expensive, it's not even a weeks wages
-
tried www.offroadexpress.co.nz theres been some cheapies in the past,
that money i'd look at some muddies an some slippers for the road.
had some 34" adventuro's would def trade again
-
no not at all chap 15 inch with potential in 4x100 is worth every penny, not to mention not copies.
they ain't plentiful like 4x114 pcd and they don't come up often.
-
what style dane m/ts or full on mud tires we paid $80 each for some worn down simexs off a comp guy,
howl like a bitch on road but sweet for bush truck
-
had i still run 4x100 on my gemini i would have paid $800 odd happily,
35 offset is perfect for a gemini in standard form without touching the guards etc,
e30 and mx5 will also work with this offset.
$400 is too cheap unless you're selling to me, i'm sure you wouldn't be upset at them back on trademe for a $1000 start a day later?
-
i get it done locally so you can hit them up if you have issues, maybe offer to run a small sticker on the window
and engineering will blow you$120-$150 an hour up here,
i'd pay the money i've had a busted knuckle send the driveshaft through the floor on one of my early chevettes at 100k,
it makes a hell of a mess and you damn near shit when it happens
-
guy down the road has one running a 350chev dyna diff etc on 33's hasn't moved in a few years
-
you'd do better to just give the original motor a cam and a freshen up unless you want to cert it or pull it back to standard at wof time
-
well consider this an ls1 is around 15kg heavier than an rb25det and an lm7 is 30kg more than the det,
however the centre of mass will be a bit more toward the firewall.
quoted from a zoom article where a chap had the 25det then went ls1

Gemini diff replacement ideas

originals are 23 spline but not a borg diff, they are same as an early commodore run same size drums etc,
if your mate goes with a borg I have some 25 spline aXles already set up with 4x100.
he'd have to use a vl diff though.
4 link without coilovers could be tricky as the spring perches are in front of the diff tube,
unless you use modified commodore lower arms as they have a spring perch built in
