Jap rad I think you mean.
-
Yeah so don't let your wife/mum/sister/nana drive your car.

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally got some new tyres. Went for 185/60 in the end and I'm pretty pleased with them. Handles like a dream and fit under the guards nicely. Pics to come.

My bro has one of these and I'm trying to convince him he needs to lower it. How do you do it with hydrolastic?
-
Stageas arent that thirsty if you get a 25x (non turbo) 2wd model.
Plus they got leather seats, and factory rear tints to keep the UV off your kids. I love mine to bits.
Do you own a rockin' green one with choice large (didn't catch what kind) White rims? First time I ever noticed one and it was bangin.

All sorted now thanks to Valiant, now time to see if WOF man notices the temp fix. Will defo be getting some proper springs in 'ere.
edit:LOLZ he didn't notice it. Good shit.

It was pretty impressive. Made my DX (you can see the tail lights in bottom pick) look like a heap. I especially liked the dash.

Couple of old pics of a radcore RX3 wagon I spotted in Kaikoura in Feb.
-
Aaah, excellent. That's what I was looking for.
-
The old thread is gone so can't remember exactly but someone may come in with the answer. I believe it involved putting a wee bit of steel pipe in the shocks to shorten them a bit to make it hold the springs in.
-
Coming up to WOF time and I don't think myWOF guy will let the uncaptive cutties in my wagon go through this time. Had a couple of OSers offer help last WOF time but have had a fucked up, full on 6 months so never took them up. Is there anyone in CHCH that can help me fit shims in as Seedy Al explained to me in a now deleted thread.
Would be so grateful and eternally in your debt.

Disconnect net and play instantly. Fuck waiting for pointless downloads.

Pretty sure the Kumho 712 has white writing on one side and plain black on the other so you can choose. Come in 215/50/13 for around $150 but don't know what other sizes. That was from a shop here in chch.

Spotted this Studebaker Hawk in Merivale, Chch the other day. Thing is massive.
Also saw this outside CPIT.
Christchurch is THE best place for spotting old school rides. I see ten or so every day on my way to and from work. Some nice, some not so nice.

Can't imagine there are too many others in NZ like this? Hopefully they're dumb enough to list it or the parts on Tard Me.
-
I'm in that area every day how have I not seen this? Hope the scum bags leave it somewhere in tact. Has happened to a few friends of mine but unfortunately not to me.
-
It would look choice. You can google it up pretty easy to get a good idea (not the same colour as yours). Personally I'd like to see the gold/brown combo goin' on.

Just did an oil change about 1000ks ago so pretty clean. Nothing abnormal about it.
-
Pretty much the only driving I do is 15km at mostly 80km to and from work.
Is it important for the oil breather to be going back in to the carb for the car to run well or can it go to it's own wee filter to avoid the shit going in the carb?
-
Yeah oil cap looks the same. It's not much at the moment so I'm hopeful that it's not the head gasket. I'll try the coke bottle trick and see how much stuff accumulates over a couple of weeks.
Car is my daily so it hasn't been sitting at all.
-
It's a standard as 4k. Have to top up coolant maybe a cup every two or three months.
-
I replaced the air filter on my car the other day and noticed this shit coming up through the oil breather hole in to my air cleaner which in turn gets sucked in to my carb and makes the car stall and go mental.
What is causing it and how can I stop it? I have temporarily removed the hose that connects it and stuffed it with a rag but I'm wanting to know why it's happening.

LOLZ at Roadcops next week.

I know a guy who bought that boat about 5 years ago for $1 but couldn't get consent from NZTA (whatever name they went by 5 years ago) to shift it. It was too big to go through the tunnel to Lyttelton and no one was willing to risk floating it in Redcliffs in case it.... well, didn't float.
He did live in it for a while and it was actually quite big inside. Pretty toasty with the coal range he somehow installed in it too.
Eventually the insane guy who owned the house said he couldn't have it anymore so I'd like to know what actually happened with it.

My '75 didn't. Maybe later ones did?
