hey all, wanting to know how to trouble shoot a tacho? thinking I got sold a dud, brought one second hand off trademe. I have wired it as follows... red 12v, black ground and green to negative on coil. when ignition is turned on tach goes to 6500rpm and when engine is running 5000rpm and it dosent move when the engine is reved any ideas? cheers

i have had it running once, then found water leaking in the oil and a pistion so re-torqued the head to the corect settings, then tried 2 start a couple days later and no luck

its a bluetop 4age out of a 83 celica, it is injected and has standard ecu. ive out the engine into my ke35. another question how can i tell if i got the right plug/wire on the right injector?

hey this is my 1st project car so still abit unshure about things... whats hapening is when i turn the key it fires a few times but wont keep firing when i stop cranking it. does the car need to be running to do a compression test? does the fuel pump need 2 be on wen its cranking? what things could i chek to see whats wrong? any help would be great thanx

arnt those pumps like 15psi? isnt that 2 much?

hey, ive got all the parts i need for my t50 going in my ke35 exept im a bit stumpd on how to get the clutch pedal 2 pick up the master cylinder??? also have people who have done this in a ke35 just mounted the mastercylinder on the same hole as the cable used to come out?

are you talking about that fuel pump?

ok thanx, i just rememberd i still got the fuel filter from the 4k i had will this be sweet 2 mount b4 the low pressure pump?

i got all the parts i need just a couple for questions... do i need 2 buy or make a push rod for the slave cylinder to the clutch for? and im a bit stuck on how to modify my clutch pedal, do i need 2 change the pivit point? and have other poeple who have done this just bolted the master cylinder where the original cable came out?

i need 2 get a slave cylinder 4 my t50 and when i went 2 buy 1 of a ae86 thea was 2 diferent 1s 2 choose from the sr or the gt does any1 no the difernce

hey does any1 out there know what the torque settings i need for the cam bolts on the head, it is for a 4age blue top any help would be great thanx
