Mitre 11 sell a drill powered pump with barb fittings for garden hose that I find useful for this sort of thing. About $20 last time I saw one.

Fuckin arse it looks hot on those 16" Watties dude
-
How did ya get on with the steering rack situation dude?
-
What a fucking sweet show.
Yes

Explosions in the Sky
Dude I totally came up from Chch to see this. Muscled my way right to the front under the RH PA speaker, got some sweet photos and video of part of "Your hand in mine". Great band, one of my favourites.

Which gig are you attending dude?

Mitsubishi hydraulic lifters get very noisy if they get gummed up. Try changing the oil and slapping some promar in there.
A lot of the Evo guys change them out for ones that have larger orifices to overcome this - they pretty much become solid lifters if the pressure can't relieve itself.

WHen you've replaced the battery, best double check for a current drain to be sure as the new one will die very quickly if it gets drained repeatedly to 0VDC.
Let me know if you need a hand to be able to do this
-
Your battery won't charge dude, that's why you're getting 11 VDC straight after switching off. Get a new one, or at least a second hand one that is ok, then continue working your way back to the charging system.
-
Get a new battery dude, sounds like it's dropped a cell. At rest the voltage shouldn't be below 12.5 VDC

Hello Sir - I very much like the development of this machine. Good work!
-
It was Bonita's car still - she's pretty pissed, especially considering parts of the kit are turning up all over the show because the fucks can't drive
-
Ok well I'm not impressed and that is all I was trying to get across. In fact I find drifting in general dull so I'm not trying to insult you. It's just my opinion.
-
Let's face it - if this guy can do it on a girl's pedally...
-
yeah I dont much like that vid of apex and the rx7, extended swingarm = gay, drifting a stock length bike is so much fucking harder.
And for the debate of supermoto vs street bike I take it youve never spent alot of time on either lol.
Sliding a supermoto is like roosting a dirtbike, your not fighting the weight of the bike so you can lay them down alot further and they arnt nearly as prone to highsiding like a street bike is.
And so the point you're really getting at is what? That watching someone drift a road bike slowly should be more entertaining than watching motards do the same, at higher speeds, because it's harder to do?
By that criteria - someone should set up a diesel van drift squad and entertain the masses with drifting slowly...
-
Looks like he's going really slow compared to the Motards who do this with a track full of other bikes... (1st vid)

I think its around one of 10 NZ new models sold by Cockram Nissan.
42k back in 85 which was more than a house, so right now that makes a brand new GTR look cheap.
My workmate owns one of the others... Interesting comparison with the GTR too, as that's what he was looking to upgrade to when he moves it out of the garage/ he won't.... lol!

Avonside Drive? Just gotta watch out for the cracks/potholes etc

Opinion or honest opinion? Because in my honest opinion they should have bought a Toyota...

Yeah dude, it's also a hub to the other S12 related sites worldwide (Top of the page)

Sweet ride man, love the mkII look with the more aggressive bonnet and aero skirts.
Check out the output some of the S12OC guys (S12 owners club - an English forum) are getting from CA18DE+T setups...
Also, if you haven't done so - have a look and perhaps even register here. There is an absolute goldmine of info between all the related forums.

Some alternators use the same plug for the sensor and charge light, but the polarity of the connections is reversed. Worth checking this out - it caused me some short term confusion when I changed from a Mitsubishi alternator to a Lucas one in the Silvia, and had similar symptoms to what you are describing.

This from a friend of mine on Facebook yesterday - I said I'd keep an eye out and help spread the word.

Do these have a solid state ignition module?
If so the symptoms sound very similar to something our Ford Laser used to do. Only option is to change it.
Edit: I see this was mentioned in the OP so guess that is already covered
