Awesome, a cousin of mine a had a worked 1350 Mini, it only did about 160k's but it fucking rocketed to about 110 then ran out of steam

i find it easier in smaller places,you could always jus get some chasis black and paint it on with a paint brush thats an annoying job tho real messy

Tried it with metallic though?, Its not neceserally hard, just getting it consistant without runs and trying not to lean on/hit gun or hose on new paint when getting to those, hard-to-reach places

Definatly agree with Cam on pretty much everything he just mentioned, "cruisers" imo like Crowns, Cedrics should definatly be 4 door, the smaller sportier (in my opinion) cars like ke2*'s, escorts etc I generally like to be 2 door but still love the 4 doors

But then theres cars like datsun 1200's.. i love the 4 door just as much as the coupe.

A problem i have struck is I'm not sure what colour to do the inside, the car itself is most likely going to be metallic green, and I find it bloody hard to get consistant with metallic in small cunty places, was thinking I could just flat black it but I'm not sure yet. Engine bay will be same colour as the car though

Oh and I've got school holidays so thats the reason im going nuts on her, it will slow down somewhat during school in the next few weeks so I'm trying to get the hard part out of the way. Body work starts getting easy after a couple of cars and find faster ways of doing things.. and hey, it is a small car so theres not alot to do

for the inside im not doing it "properly", i dont see the point as it never gets seen with carpet and everything, but dont worry the rest will be done right

The price of RX's are rediculous, look at other countries like aus and usa and they are generally the same price as all other old cars.. Alot of the time i wished RX2's werent rotaries or mazda for that matter, because they are pretty much my favourite (looking anyway, never driven one) 70's jappa, and if they werent hyped up by the engine they have I'd own one by now..

Jap is good. The thing I find with escorts is that people usually have them as first cars therfor grow sick of them before they actually mod them decently or before they generally throw money into them. This is why there is not as many mint nicely modded ones out there.

I think this is a good thing, cause then there are alot more of the "crappy" ones around which we can pick up for a generally good price, and mod them how we want. I guess I just like having a car thats mine i.e done up myself to how i want it rather than someone elses
