If you dont have a timing light, put 2 marks on the dizzy and the mount part (that doesnt move with it) so you know were to put it back to if it doesnt help, but fiddle around (little movements are bigger than ya think) with the dizzy and move it each way and drive it, see if it helps, if it gets better, then turn it more the same way and see what happens, only takes 5 mins and could fix the problem easy as, if it doesnt help turn it the opposite way past your marks, if that doesnt help, then compression is too high for the fuel your using I'd say

BADASS!!, Now that car is awesome!

The car in my sig was done with resene 2pack mid blue + 10% silver (metallic) with NO clear, its acrythane so its shiney without clear (can clear it if you want), and personally I would clear it so you can colour sand later on to get rid of any orange peel, after primer it was sanded with 500grit dry then wax/grease removed and sprayed 4 coats
This was the first car I painted and as you can see the roof is quite 'dry', this why I'd do clear aswell so that can be cut/polished to look mint

Yep, but it still does stick without sanding, but chips off easy
400 or 600 will work, 400/500 is best
-
Looking great man!, Very nice indeed
Hope mine ends up that straight
-
Call it Starlina, or Carlet.. rofl (Carina + Starlet)
-
It will stay on just not well, DO sand it though.. use 500ish grit before paint
-
Good stuff man, pics pics pics
-
White walls and hubcaps it is then - Roof racks are mean

Would have to be pretty warm to warp wouldn't they!?

Can see where your bothing coming from, I think Mikuni is getting at the enthusiasts rather than the people who fall into buying an old escort or similar, in fact its probably cheaper to buy a 80's corolla or something rather than a escort with the prices they have nowadays

Yep i know what you mean, and filler doesn't like to dry when its cold = stumped me for a week as theres bugger all left for me to do lol.. and its just shitty working in cold weather, today was awesome though. Whats left that needs doing to the beast?
-
Woohoo Tis awesome when ya get to that stage eh?, all the hard work done, rest is precision stuff to get it fully straight, good stuff man.. you will have to get another car after this and have updates every week to keep us occupied again. Can't wait to see it done

Drunk driving?, looks like a funnel on the groud by the pole
-
Just rub some twink/white-out on it
-
why don't you just make a cold air setup for both?, what carbs you running?
-
An old mate of mine had one, centrifical (sp) clutch, wooden seat.. just gotta push off for a start, did like 30ks lol

As long as it has wheels and an engine, I'll be able to find something interesting about it
Briggs and Stratton mini bike = lolz

looks aws as an 808 still, hate how EVERYONE thinks 808 wags NEED '3 cones.
good buy man,
Yep, i agree.. although twin head lights on any car usually get my jizzle on but its good to see original looking 808s
-
Thats a very cool wagon man. Lovin all of it, especially the front. I don't know why everyone likes the typical rx3 12a nosecone or whatever (I know next to nothing about mazdas). These ones are way better, is it not a 10a nose cone? Anyway, looking great man. Can't wait to see it on some wheels. Any other plans for the beast?
12a/10a nose cones are off RX3's and have different light surrounds/grill etc (both got twin head lights)
That nose cone with single head lights = 808

Awesome car, looks pretty original too, what ever you do KEEP THE ROOF RACKS!

Thats cool, although 9.5:1 should run easily on 96 octane, have you done a compression test on all cylinders?
