Having a few issues with starter motor clearance at the moment.. there is a little lump on the block which is stopping the starter motor fitting up properly.. There is an oil gallery behind it and I think it is just a casting mark so I'm going to take to it with an angle grinder and hope like hell it isn't drilled through. fingers crossed!

its fucking rad. I threw a radiator in today and took the beast for a cruise to takas.. was a bit dodgy rolling on bump stops but no dramas !

Yeah I bought both of them off andrew man.. the blue one isnt roadworthy at the moment, I had a wee prang but that's another story. Suspension is just cutties front and rear and I will be getting the rear shocks shortened for a wof/cert. I will try take some pics of the factory lada rims I have (chrome centercaps and chrome trim round the rim) which I will get whitewalls on for a different look.

I saw sexyminors thread about his lada and thought I would make one of my own.. Here's the beast.. I've got a fiat 1800 twin cam engine lined up to go in which I will be picking up in the next couple of weeks.. so I'm looking foward to taking it for a cruise !!
