correct.

you will probably just have to use a trolley jack to push the wishbone/spring back into place, i just did the bottom arm bushes on my mk5 and that is the easiest way by far.
-
i just did the steering rack in my mk5 cortina, big improvement, one of my padock basher mk5 cortina's (dont worry its beyond repair) has that same problem (noisy back end). the fix is to replace all the bushes on the top and bottom arms, and just make sure everything is nice and tight. out of the few mk5 cortina i have none of them lean to one side... must be a north island thing , or just worn out shokies and/or springs.

these one come up on ebay time to time, i was bidding on some about 2 weeks ago, they have a square oval shape. keywork you will probably need is cortina mk1/mk2 or 1600e etc....

one of my mk2s (a white super) that now lives in wellington had little knerls that went over the spline that screwed on, they are really crappy cos they are made out of really soft metal and the bolts on them strip, last one i got came from repco, cost me $15 i think. otherwise if you got access to some bits and pieces change over to the early type that has the knerls built into the wiper assembly. $15 + Pnp if ya want one.....
the knerl on there already is probably stuck in the end of the wiper arm.. or has gone for a walk....
-
cheers guys... just got to get a new headlining and it will be really awesome....
-
Damn that thing can move... will dig that loom out so you can have some wipers for this fantastic weather we are having at the moment if you got to sumner can i come along with you as my wagons got no rego?

GTE seats are high back Look very nice none the less.
Heaps of the pics dont work for me however
Getting a few iof us on here with mk2 goats now. Its awsome.
theyre actually genuine e type seats because there is gt, gte and e. e are different because of the supendsion setup, think they have the lotus supendsion setup? i think thats why they are not not high backs any feel free to correct me
What ya mean by e type?
GTE seats are high back. The GTE is the NZ equivilent of the GT and pretty much the hardest type of shit to get hold of.
The Seats in LowMk2s car are from a series1 1600e, the 1600e is the english equivelent of the gte, has full wood trim and klotus suspension....

You have a really mint GT there....., the thing to do would be store it until december and then sell the ute and you have still got a really motorable cheap reliable classic. mk3 GT's are getting more desirable as days go by, the next best thing to a mk3 GT is a MK1 or MK2 GT.... you would be spending around $6-$12 K depending on originality/condition etc....
