Little bit of an update:

Had a bit of a spending spree over the last couple of months.

On the list were:

New gauges

Tacho (Van only had speedo and fuel gauge working)

new KYB gas shocks all round

New nolathanes all round

new rear leafs (sent off to get reset)

Sold the old wheels and got some second hand ROH blades

Put 2 new falkens on.

Now the van is at my local garage getting all the little things done to it before i go get a cert, but before that i have to tint it and get a drive shaft loop made up.

theres one of these ihere in rotorua , some japanese guy who runs a motel has it.

think from memory he wants $8000 for it and its emaculate.

cant wait to see the paint. you should keep the bumper on but just shorten the irons that hold it on so that the bumper will sit in closer.

yeah the 90 supercharged crown had the fridge, but not this one, must be because lpg tank is underneath.

Yeah 15+ y/old air shocks do nothing for me

ex jap embassy vehicle from japan, MS 135---or MS137, does it have air suspension (fuck i hope not----$1500 a shock, and they stuff out alot), if non air sus then it is a MS135, 137 has air sus and a few other extras. Like electric telescopic tilt steering wheel etc etc, this one still has elec rear seats?

great car though, i have had 3 of these models---(not extended though and not LPG)--- last of the Full Frame chassis Crowns as well, safe as a house in that thing!, the LPG is factory as well i would say--denso set up? if it is they are the best in the world, these models were also sold with the 1UZFE V8, exact same car with the chassis code UZS131, so if you wanted to ditch the 7m and get a 1UZ in it's fairly simple, just the wiring, the mounts and it should drop in, the diff is the same between the two mods as well.

7m's are famous for eating headgaskets, which you prob already know? great engine otherwise, apart from toyota not tourquing the head bolts down adequately--do a google search loads of info on BHG and 7m's.

The fender mirros--- yeah get them back on there!, any jap import with them on like from a wreckers, will fit, just find the bogged holes on the fenders, all the wiring will still be inside the guard, plug in and you are away!

this be my 3rd crown ms 65 was my 1st then i had a 90 supercharged one (slips my mind as to what the chassis number is)

the model is the non air suspension one (thank god, as my mate had one and it was a nightmare) will check to see if it is factory, yes has elec rear seats , does not have fridge though.

Yeah i do remember this being up for grabs a while back, as always didnt have the cash at the time, just so happens it came up again, pretty sure its had the head off already, its got 150k on the clock.

no unfortunatly, would be good to find a set. makes you wonder what some people are thinking when they take off perfectly good guard mirrors and replace them with crappy plastic ones that constantly need to be adjusted
