Can you paint onto enamel(as in some kind of primer between the enamel and the new paint) or do you need to take it back to bare metal?
Youll need to use a primer sealer otherwise basecoat will react if normal primer is used
-
On another note my radiator is looking a bit shabby i want to paint it up with some black paint, how much of a hp gain can i expect from this mod!!?? or will the extra weight cancel out the gains?
-
you for real?

Haha im doin champaigne but i got my paint ages ago Fuck yes gloss black, i so wanted to do that to my bellett, would look epic.
And ya ^ this man speaks the truth, just as much if not more panel/prep work need for a good satin jobby.

You can add flattning agent to basecoat but the more you add the greyer it goes, im doin it in the clear last coat but as said prior you wont be able to buff out any crap in last coat its guna be tricky in a shitty dusty garage.
-
Chur bowls, sounds like you guys are expecting alot from me unfortunitly im running out of time and fast as im moving out soon and need it done soonish.
-
ask for flattner seperate and add it in to your last coat of clear. but do a trail before hand and let me know how it goes so i dont have tooo. Oh you wont beable to wash it apparently

So have started to do many hours of block sanding, anyways i have a couple low spots here and there, all in all pretty happy but was wondering what the best way to repair the areas is?
They are very small say the size of a 10c coin and very shallow, should i just skim bog them then spot prime, or spray putty or just spray a couply more coats of hi fill over the areas??

Well the paint needs clear to protect it as its long term, im adding flattning agent into the last couple of clears to achieve the satin "look"
